2018 - 2019: FINE ARTS CAMPAIGN

Impact Report

Charlotte Preparatory School is committed to building and nourishing a community aligned around three child-centered values: the infinite worth of each child whatever his or her background, his or her potential to learn and grow, and the importance of partnership between parents and school to create an environment where every child can thrive.

LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES AND HEAD OF SCHOOL Dear Friends, There is nothing more gratifying than the joyful sounds of children’s voices and music on the stage. From the new sound system to the band instruments to the soon to be realized art room upgrades and new stage lights, the Arts have been the venue for so much of the positive energy that exemplifies Charlotte Prep.

Creating art in its various forms expands children’s ability to interact with the world around them, and provides a new set of skills for communication and self-expression. Their academic skills are complemented with important social skills that benefit their development. We are proud of such excellence in our Fine Arts program. Charlotte Prep continues to be a place where childhood is preserved, and children can enjoy this magical time in their journey. None of this would be possible without the generosity of our One Prep family, and for that we are grateful. On behalf of all the students and future students, thank you for your time, treasure, and talent in making this department something special. Your support today and in the future is invaluable. Sincerely,

Chris Loebsack President, Board of Trustees

Eddie Mensah Head of School
