If you believe your children will thrive in an environment where every child is KNOWN, LOVED, and CHALLENGED, then Charlotte Prep is the perfect place for your family. Please review the information in our Virtual Admissions Portal, browse through our viewbook, and call us to find out more about why a Charlotte Prep education may be the right choice for your children. Our goal in the Admissions Office is to work with your family to demystify the admissions process and make it as simple as we possibly can for your family to join our nurturing community. Please let us know how we can help. The admissions process is outlined below for your convenience.

Admissions admissions@charlotteprep.org

Students applying to grades 5 – 8 are required to take the Independent School Entrance Examination (ISEE), grades K-1 are required to take the WPPSI test, and grades 2-4 are required to take the WISC test. We will reach out to you to schedule a visit for your child. These visits may be held virtually, or on campus, depending on the health situation. As always, the health and safety of our community and your family comes first.

Our Leadership Program is designed to give our Middle Schoolers tangible experiences leading in the classroom, on the sports field, and through service. Middle Schoolers serve as older buddies to younger students exemplifying our 4 pillars of leadership: Respect, Courage, Integrity, and Perseverance. 7th and 8th graders take a leadership class to learn what it means to be inspiring, empathetic leaders. Consequently, they are poised to meet the challenges of high school and beyond. Each day in Middle School starts with Advisory. Similar to homeroom, Advisory gives students the opportunity to take a deep breath, focus on the day ahead, and discuss important topics with their Advisor. All Middle School students take an elective. Elective choices range from rock climbing to yearbook design, - there's something for everyone. All students take Drama and Art every year, and can choose between Chorus and Band for their music class. They have P.E. twice a week, and a variety of after school intramural sports in addition.
