Thought Process for Integrating Technology into the Classroom Thinking more deeply about the effective uses of technology to support and enhance learning is essential if we are to see a true transformation of learning with technology. Marc Prensky asks us to consider the following: Is it‌ Doing old things in old ways? Doing old things in new ways? Doing new things in new ways? Prior to implementing a tool into the classroom a teacher should always reflect upon the reasons for doing so. If the tool choice does not show value in expanding the learning of students, adding to a smoother function of their classroom, or assist the teacher with simplifying their responsibilities, then the tool should not be integrated into the classroom. Ask yourself these questions as you consider new tools to integrate into your classroom:
