Today is my birthday! with Wandering Andy
Andy watched the clock and said, to no one in particular:
“today is my birthday!”
He looked out his office and behind this door. But no one was to be found.
Andy decided it would be best to wander the hallways in search of his friends.
“Not in the elevator”, he said. He searched and searched.
He shouted into the drinking fountain. “Today is my birthday! Where is everyone?!”
Not here... or here... or here...
or here... or here... or there.
“Where could everyone be?” Andy asked a stuffed animal, who clearly couldn’t answer him, “today is my birthday.”
With no one to celebrate with, Wandering Andy put his head on a pillow for a nap.
Suddenly he was awakened by a loud “SUPRISE!” His friends said they just wanted to surprise him.
Everyone took a group picture and with a smile, Wandering Andy said....
“Today was a good
birthday!”
