Splash into Summerby Paris McCabe

Wake Island Waterpark is the largest waterpark on the entire west coast containing more than 50 inflatable slides, bridges and towers — all interconnected and floating in a large and clean lake surrounded by a sandy shore.

Want to know an enjoyable and affordable fun way to spend this summer? Let us tell you about a thrilling and energizing summer sport called Boatless Wakeboarding also known as cable wakeboarding.

What is cable wakeboarding? Cable wakeboarding allows you to wakeboard or kneeboard without a boat. The overhead cable system pulls riders around the lake. Riders grab a handle, take off from the start dock and complete laps of the lake. This is the ideal sport for riders who have limited or no access to a boat.

Best part is, there’s no boats, no gasoline, no maintenance, no air pollution, no traffic-clogged lake, less risk to your body all while having a great time with your friends. What’s not to like about it? A great place to try out your cable wakeboarding skills this summer is Wake Island Waterpark in Roseville California. This is an all expansive fun and fresh summer waterpark for all ages to enjoy.

Noel Carter, the owner of Wake Island Waterpark wants guests to have an experience like no other. “People don’t forget this type of recreation. It encourages active play and social interaction on the water with exciting, but safe, experiences. It’s really like nothing else.” Says Carter.
