Duration of work: 30 days

Hours of work: 0700 – 1700h with no work on Sundays

Beginning on February 16th, 2023, there will be a 24-hour closure of the western access to the Scatchard Trail network (on the right looking towards the slope from the trailhead). This is a safety measure to support rock bolting for slide stabilization and is expected to be in place for approximately 30 days In addition to signage and closure tape at the trailhead and the first western switchback, CIF will maintain a 24-hour presence on the trail to monitor the work area and emergency access to the work area

During daylight hours, from the Village and the highway, you will see a scaling crew and equipment on ropes working from below the Scatchard Trail towards the base of the slope. Light plants at the top and bottom of the slope will be visible overnight.
