PURE DENIM

The Bujutsu chef jacket was designed for chef Nick Bril of The Jane** restaurant in Antwerp and is inspired by Japanese style. The collection is modern, sleek and distinctive, with diagonal, asymmetrical pockets that give the items a fresh look. The collection colours are also unique: the chef jackets are not only available in black and white, but also in green. The earthy tones of the bib aprons and waist aprons fit in perfectly with these colours. These colourful outfits draw all eyes towards the kitchen!

Pure Denim Collection is strong, raw, and has character. That’s why it’s the perfect blend of fashion and workwear. Real denim is alive! The more you wash it, the more it comes to life. The innovative combination of cowhide and polyester makes the leather bib and waist aprons lightweight and less vulnerable to stains. All of the apron ties are fully adjustable. RECYCLED PLASTIC BOTTLES Chaud Devant® has developed a special material for its first Recycled Plastic Bottles Collection! Made of 100% recycled plastic bottles in an eco-friendly fabric (200 gr/m2). A white, satin woven fabric made of 65% recycled polyester and 35% environmentally friendly cotton. The fabric has a stain repellent finish that makes it easy to remove stains and an Easy Care finish, making the fabric very easy to iron. Goal: Full Cradle to Cradle solution. Recycling our Chaud Devant® RPB Collection! Care what you wear!

Amfori BSCI Chaud Devant® works with European studios that are Amfori BSCI Members. Amfori BSCI is a well-known quality label that guarantees good, safe working conditions and decent wages. We also visit all studios personally on a regular basis.

The fabrics used for our chefwear are very carefully selected. That is why Tencel® is found in a number of our products. This fabric keeps you cool and is highly absorbent. It even dries faster than cotton. It goes without saying that we want only the very best materials for our products!

With Waste2Wear®, Chaud Devant® does its part to help make the world a little greener. Products with the Waste2Wear label are made of recycled plastic bottles. These bottles are processed into polyester, which is then used to create our RPB collection.

FX Freedom of movement is the most prominent feature of the FX collection. The entire collection is made of lightweight fabrics, both with and without texture. The fine jersey fabric guarantees unlimited flexibility. This fabric is made of Tencel® and polyester produced from recycled plastic bottles. The combination of these materials is not only environmentally friendly, but also ensures that the fabric dries quickly. Whether you prefer short, half-length or roll-up sleeves, the collection has it all. Make every day in the kitchen a comfortable day!

SecondLife® is a fabric made from recycled plastic bottles. It can be industrially cleaned, making it highly suitable for chefwear. The combination with Tencel® results in a jersey fabric that is flexible, lightweight and provides exceptional freedom of movement. This fabric can be found in the FX collection.

Many of our products carry the Bluesign quality mark. An international label for textiles that indicates that no harmful or carcinogenic substances were used in the production process and that there are binding criteria for energy, water consumption and air quality. In addition, it is mandatory to draw up a sustainability plan.There are also strict social obligations to protect workers and ensure their health and safety is assured.

Ecolabel® An environmental label that has been assigned to certain products within a wide range of product groups, including textiles.There must be a reduced impact on the environment. GT1pro MAGISTER Chaud Devant and MICHELIN® Technical Soles have created trendy footwear based on an Italian design, developed especially for chefs. The water-repellent leather, non-slip sole and aluminium protective toecap make these shoes perfect for in the kitchen. The insole is made with Cambrelle® and 3 mm Poron® performance cushioning. The shoe is Class S2, SRC tested and approved in accordance with the EN ISO 20345:2011 safety standard. These shoes should be used on smooth kitchen floors only.

FABRIC & CARE CARE SYMBOLS

This symbol gives information about the possibility and the kind of a domestic washing process by machine or by hand. The ciphers in the washing tub specify the maximum temperature in C, which must not be exceeded.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS For a proper treatment of your chef’s outfit, please refer to the care label with washing instructions at the inside of the garment. We recommend that you wash the garment before first use: at 30 degrees on a short program with a small amount of washing detergent. Choose an anti-wrinkle program if possible. Wash colored garments separately. To preserve the press buttons on the chef jackets, they should not be pressed in the laundry.

QUALITY & TRADEMARKS The triangle is an indication for a bleaching process. A white triangle means any bleaching agent allowed.

This symbol specifies information on the possibility of domestic drying. The circle inside the square specifies the drying in a domestic tumble dryer. The dots within the circle in the square specify the temperature setting during drying. 1 dot: low temperature of 60 °C, 2 dots: normal temperature exhaust temperature max. 80 °C

This symbol specifies ironing or pressing. The dots within it give the maximum ironing or pressing temperatures. 1 dot: Maximum temperature of 110 °C. Steam iron may cause irreversible damage. 2 dots: Maximum temperature of 150 °C. 3 dots: Maximum temperature of 200 °C.

SecondLife® SecondLife® is a fabric made from recycled plastic bottles. It can be industrially cleaned, making it highly suitable for chefwear. The combination with Tencel® results in a jersey fabric that is flexible, lightweight and provides exceptional freedom of movement. This fabric can be found in the FX collection.

An international label for textiles that indicates that no harmful or carcinogenic substances were used in the production process and that there are binding criteria for energy, water consumption and air quality.
