At Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy, we know
YOUR CHILD IS ONE OF A KIND.
I PRAISE YOU because I am fearfully and WONDERFULLY
made; your works are WONDERFUL,
I KNOW THAT FULL WELL. — Psalm 139:14
God created your student to
be one of a kind—vivacious,
inquisitive, caring.
At Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy, we make it our mission to help students discover, hone, and steward their God-given talents, so they will love, engage, and make their mark in the world. All over the globe, and right here in Cincinnati, our students and alumni challenge assumptions, expand their potential, and seek solutions.
And they do it all with great joy.
Where others may pull back, CHCA students
lean into life.
How do we help them do that? Beginning with the end in mind, a CHC A education builds resilience for lifelong learning and lifelong faith.

QUESTIONS ARE ESSENTiaL Why didn’t God gi ve the Ten Commandments to Adam and E ve?
Is humanity progressing?
At CHC A, learning and faith inspire and reinforce each other. Here, faith is a journey of learning, learning is an ongoing act of faith, and questions pave the way to lifelong intellectual and spiritual growth. That’s why, guided by expert Christian faculty members, students at every grade level engage with increasingly complex, timeless, essential questions. By learning to embrace difficulty and uncertainty, CHC A students strengthen their minds and their faith. Like their teachers, they never stop inquiring.
CHCA is a place of serious scholarship, intellectual engagement, and creativity. When I started college, I had already worked through concepts and problems that my fellow freshmen were encountering for the first time. — alumnus, class of 1998
Academics: Delve deeper, reach higher In every grade, CHCA’s intentionally designed, college-preparatory curriculum sparks curiosity and fuels expertise. From preschool through elementary school, we ensure students build mental muscle by mastering the basics as they begin exploring their own skills and interests. In middle school, we carefully guide them through the transition from concrete to more abstract thought. Finally, in high school, we help students reach for the next level of academic success, offering a wealth of AP courses and a meticulous, personalized college counseling process.
Our culture of vigorous inquiry and persistent effort, combined with loving attention to individual gifts, develops agile, innovative thinkers, eager to take on profound intellectual challenges. As your student learns to pose insightful questions and employ a range of critical methods to answer them, we prepare him to thrive in the college and profession of his choice.
CHCA drives achievement:
I wanted to go to a top college, and CHCA helped make sure I got there.
I graduated from Princeton, now I’m on the leadership team of a startup. — alumnus, class of 2007 As we help all our students prepare for the nation’s most selective colleges, we offer challenges and incentives for top achievers to set their sights even higher. Cum Laude Scholarships For high school students who combine top test scores with stellar classroom performance, these annually renewable scholarships cover 75 – 90 percent of CHCA’s tuition. Lead, Learn, and Serve Scholarships With these prestigious scholarships, CHCA offers significant financial awards to incoming 9th graders who show outstanding promise in academics, leadership, and service. Research and Leadership Class Beginning as sophomores, selected students design and carry out three-year research projects, completing a publishable paper in their senior year.
Spiritual life: Celebrating our shared love of Christ At CHCA, learning and faith inspire and reinforce each other. Our curriculum carefully integrates meaningful reflections upon Christian faith into every discipline, as our quest for God fuels intellectual curiosity and our academic pursuits teach us more about God’s world. Students and teachers worship, contemplate, and rejoice alongside one another at weekly chapel services. We pray together — in class, in the hallway, on the playing field. And we live out our faith through service to others.

Our teachers: Wise mentors, expert guides At CHCA, teaching is not only a career, but a calling. For our faculty members, teaching means sharing love — for Christ, for their students, for their subjects, and for learning itself. They pour devotion, curiosity, gratitude, and expertise into their work. Friends, mentors, and master instructors, our teachers both lead their students and walk alongside them on an exhilarating journey of discovery.
Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. — 1 Timothy 6:18
Generosity: A way of life at CHCA Following Christ’s example, our extended learning family embraces service and selfless giving. All of our students — from preschool through grade 12 — engage in service, growing intellectually and spiritually as they learn from those they serve and give back to their communities — at CHCA, here in Cincinnati, and all around the world. Similarly, our parents, teachers, and alumni share the same generous spirit: they joyfully invest their time and financial resources on behalf of our students, ensuring that CHCA’s beacon shines today and far into the future. We know that when we give of ourselves, we are transformed from the inside out.
The arts: Expressing exuberance Our renowned visual and performing arts programs inspire even our youngest students to discover, deepen, and share their creativity. From constructing stained-glass windows to singing in the musical, from touring with the jazz band to directing videos, CHCA students explore and expand their imaginations. At CHCA, your student delights in her God-given talents — and surprises herself every day.

A vibrant learning family CHCA welcomes families from more than 160 churches as we support each student’s path to intellectual and spiritual growth. By focusing on our shared love of Christ, not doctrinal differences, we nurture a loving, diverse family of learners. CHCA’s safe yet invigorating environment prepares students to engage meaningfully with different cultures, viewpoints, and ideas throughout their lives.
Athletics is especially important for building character. There’s often a decision moment when you’re asked, “Do you have it in you?” I’ve seen countless students grow stronger by putting themselves to the test. — school faculty member
Athletics: Winning twice CHCA’s athletics program teaches students to win twice — on the scoreboard, and by honoring God through good sportsmanship. Sinking a three-point shot, lending a hand to a fallen opponent, or congratulating the other team (win or lose), your student grows in character, discipline, and perseverance while preparing for collegiate-level play. And we cheer him on.
Campus life: Explore, connect, discover
CHCA gives students virtually limitless opportunities to explore their God-given talents and interests. We don’t just offer a wide choice of activities — sports, arts, government, service, travel — we create a culture in which investigating new experiences is the norm. In this joyful, diverse environment, students feel safe to try, fail, and try again, as they begin to discover the distinct individuals God made them to be.
We don’t have cliques at CHCA, because people are involved in so many different activities. Football players are also in the musical, the jazz band, the AV club.… We have friends in all these different circles. — high school student

Making an impact.
Sharing responsibility.
Since the founding of CHCA, each generation of parents and alumni has taken up the challenge established by our founders: to support the school through prayer, annual giving, and the gift of time. Your philanthropic and volunteer support maintains our position at the forefront of innovative Christian education.
Our students strengthen their minds and their faith — not by receiving answers, but by asking questions. CHCA students, supporting each other and guided by expert Christian teachers, engage with increasingly complex, timeless, essential questions that foster lifelong curiosity and resilience.
Expecting achievement.
From preschool through grade 12, CHCA’s curriculum sparks curiosity and fuels mastery. Through our culture of vigorous effort and inquiry, combined with loving attention to individual gifts, students gain the tools to keep delving deeper and reaching higher.

I look at these children, and they’re all little now. But I know that someday they’re going to be teachers, doctors, musicians, scientists — they’ll be in all kinds of positions of influence. Think of all the lives they’ll influence in the future.
