Hi, I’m Mandy. I am part of the Cheeky Angels Team and the “normal one!” I am a wife and Mother to 2 boys, aged 18 & 6. I lead a very hectic life and have somehow obtained the nickname of the Energizer Bunny! I can’t think why…. I run my own business as a self employed hairdresser, am a tutor teaching Mediumship and Psychic development alongside doing public demonstrations. Hi, I’m Stella, I am the Aussie part of the team. I am a Wife and a Mum to my own three children (adults!), and adopted Mum to hundreds. I love to look after people and to make other people feel happy in their lives. I work as a Tarot Reader, in a few different places. I work from a shop, a theme park, online, in person and have worked at many Psychic Fairs. This is my passion along with healing; I am a Reiki Master and Teacher. he consciousness essentially the mind can arguably be split into two different parts, the conscious mind whereby we can reason through an argument and make conscious decisions and the subconscious mind, which to a large extent completes tasks without conscious control.

the subconscious mind has in part taken over control from the conscious mind, so communication between the two “separate” halves must be taking place. Two instances of this taking place are when we consciously try to recall information of a past experience, the subconscious mind is alerted and thus tries to locate and convey the past experience back into the conscious mind, and as such we can once again “feel” the experience.

It is important to understand a basic premise as to how the consciousness works in order to better understand how communication from spirit works. When a person first starts to develop it is a new experience and thus will be dealt with consciously, and where the “ ” comes into play, for as yet there is no association into the subconscious mind with which to refer and compare. As a person progresses within their development the processes inherent within Mediumship become to varying degrees automated and the subconscious mind is able to associate and recall and thus communicate with the conscious mind. Spirit will often use what is already in our “memory banks” from our learned experiences, bringing with it a full clarity, not only of the memory but also the feelings and emotions associated with it and thus allows for a more complete account of what spirit are wishing to convey to a love one. endulum’s are a divination tool made of a piece of string and a weight. The weight can be almost anything: a metal washer, a gold or silver ring, even a paper clip. Pendulum divination has survived through the centuries. The two most common pendulum models involve either the suspension of a ring from a thin silk thread, or the suspension of a crystal from a chain. First, get a feel for your pendulum, carry it with you for a couple of days, keeping it in a velvet or silk cloth (I carry mine in my pocket if I know I am going to use it in the next few days). It will tune into your energy. Then you would be able to test its power. Hold the chain between the thumb and forefinger and let the pendulum hang down, it should not touch anything or anyone though. But make sure your hand and arm are completely still. Wait until the crystal or ring has stopped swinging at the end of the chain before you begin. Ask a question to which you KNOW THE ANSWER IS YES. The crystal should begin to move either side to side, back and forth or clockwise or anticlockwise etc. Whatever pattern the movement follows, make a note that this would always be your 'yes' answer (You can verify by repeating the question, to make sure). Follow the same steps, this time asking a question to which you know the answer is NO. Again, note the movements and this should always be your own 'no' answer (I always ask it to give me a YES and then to give me a NO before I start anyway). Then you can start asking questions that you don't have an answer to. The ancient Romans and the French seer Nostradamus were renowned for using the pendulum. Both used a different method from the one we use today. They used a method of basin scrying by means of a pendulum to

produce letters that formed prophetic verses. The bowl or basin used was made of electrum, an alloy of gold and silver. A ring with occult characters engraved upon it was attached by thread to a wand. The twenty-four letters of the Greek alphabet were engraved into the flange of the basin. The table used was probably a tripod in which to support the basin. It was made out of branches of laurel and had three legs. If you're using a ring suspended from either a silver chain or a silk thread, you should also use a goblet of water. The answers to your yes/no questions come in the form of the tapping sounds of the ring inside the glass. A single tap indicates a yes while two taps indicate a no. More than two taps indicates the spirit is not certain of the response. Another method involves using a sheet of paper with a cross marked upon it. The ring is held suspended over the cross in the left hand upon a silk thread. If the answer to the question asked is yes it will swing back and forth along the vertical arm of the cross. If the answer is no it will swing side to side along the horizontal arm of the cross. Once you become familiar with the use of the Pendulum, you can also use it to find lost articles or to dowse for water or treasure. There is a party trick I do which always works and that is to use two coins of different metals and test them first with the pendulum to see which way it goes, then ask someone to put the coins in their hands and hold out their clasped hands after moving the coins behind their back, I then hold the pendulum above one hand at a time then tell them which coin is which, love to see their faces when they open their hands.

I first picked up a pack of Tarot cards back in 1978 but after trying to use them gave it up as a bad job, it wasn’t until 1981 that the interest sparked again and this time it was the cards that I saw being used that intrigued me, I bought some and since then have used the same deck of cards for nearly every reading (yes I still use them, dog eared and worn but cherished and loved). I learnt the cards the correct way and have since done hundreds of readings, online, by email, face to face and in groups of up to 11 people, but over the last 10 years I have been using a more intuitive approach and very rarely use the traditional meanings for the cards, giving a more in depth reading and insights which would otherwise been passed by. I’m not a great one for titles but ‘Psychic Clairvoyant’ probably describes what I do ‘Psychic’ because most intuitive readings are just that ….psychic and ‘Clairvoyant’ which actually means ‘to see’ because that’s how i get a lot of my insights, with visions. I went on to train in mediumship and have worked as a Medium and done everything from working on platform to investigations. eading tea leaves or coffee grounds has traditionally been practised in many countries by the women in the family, typically at gatherings of family and friends. Tea leaf reading’s are also referred to as tasseomancy, tasseography or teomancy. Coffee reading is known as cafeomancy. Tea leaf reading is a mystical art which has been practiced since ancient times. Since people first began drinking tea, they have been fascinated by the shapes left at the bottom of their tea cup. The early Greeks practiced a variation of tea leaf reading, using wine instead of tea. They called this technique "Kottovos." If you consulted a Greek seer, he would throw wine into a metal bowl and observe the shape of the resulting splash and the formation of the sediment at the bottom of the bowl. Depending on the image, future events would be forecast which could be interpreted as positive, negative, or simply unclear. In the Middle East, it was more common to read coffee grounds, especially with the thick and syrupy Turkish coffee. Professional coffee grounds readers are common throughout Asia even today. The Europeans seem to have adopted tea leaf reading around the mid-1600's, possibly due to the influence of Romany gypsies who practiced the art as they travelled from town to town. The gypsies specialized in dramatic proclamations about a future clouded in gloom, but if you crossed their palm with an extra sovereign or two, they would try to remove the curse from you. Their style of tea leaf reading, while entertaining in its shock value, often discouraged sincere seekers who were hoping for genuine guidance and enlightenment from their tea leaf reading.

First of all sit, down and enjoy a nice cup of tea. Remembering of course, that you need to make your tea the old-fashioned way using a teapot, so that you end up with some tea leaves! You need a teacup with a wide mouth, sloping side of cups, and a plain, undecorated surface inside of cup. Do not strain the tea as you pour it. If you prefer coffee, simply brew your favourite variety of coffee and add a pinch or two of dry coffee grounds to the coffee so that there will be enough grounds to read. If you add the grounds before drinking, then let the cup sit for a few minutes so that the grounds sink to the bottom. Otherwise add the grounds to the remaining coffee dregs after you have drunk your cup of coffee. You will find that different varieties of coffee, such as Turkish or Greek coffee, are more suitable for coffee reading. Part of the ritual of this form of divination is to actually sit down and enjoy the tea and the company of your fellow drinkers before you get started. This is not as silly as it sounds as it allows you to relax and also gather your thoughts. Before you even start the reading there may already be some early signs to interpret:

YIf any tea leaves are floating on the surface, then visitors are imminent. The number of leaves shows how many days away they are. YIf two teaspoons are accidentally placed on a saucer, then you can expect news of twins soon. YIf a teaspoon is placed upside down onto a saucer then you will hear news of the ill-health of a close relative. Finish your tea leaving a small amount of liquid in the bottom of cup of the cup. Holding the cup in your left hand, swirl the tea leaves round three times in a clockwise direction. Make sure that the remaining tea swirls around the whole of the cup. Then, up-end the cup on the saucer and let the liquid drain away. Coffee drinkers can use the same method with the remains of their coffee, or they can pour the remains across a plate and interpret the patterns that are left on the plate. Now you can examine the cup and the patterns of the tea leaves inside. As a general first impression, just a scattering of leaves inside the cup indicates a tidy mind and disciplined life. A lot of leaves indicates a rich, full, busy life. To learn to read your own tea leaves, you will need loose tea leaves which are somewhat large. It is best to use a teapot with a wide spout so that when you pour the tea out of it and into your cup, the leaves can easily pass through. Some tea leaf readers recommend using only the highest grade teas and your best china, and all readers advise against using a mug, which makes it hard to look at the leaves sitting at the bottom of your cup. The person wanting their tea leaves read should concentrate on a question or area of their life that they would like insight into. Drink the tea quietly until about a half of a teaspoon's worth of tea is left in the cup. Swirl the tea leaves at the bottom of the cup three times while thinking of your question. You can ask a question about yourself, about the past, about the future, or even about someone else in your life. Turn your cup over onto a saucer and let the moisture drain out for about two or three minutes. Then turn your cup back over gently and see how the tea leaves have settled. If all the moisture is removed, you are ready to have the leaves interpreted. The cup is held so that the handle points towards the questioner. The handle represents the questioner and his or her home, and the tea leaves are read in relation to the position of the handle. The rim of the cup represents recent events. Leaves lying closer to the bottom of the cup indicate events that are more distant in time. The very bottom of the cup represents misfortunes. Leaves that lie to the right of the handle indicate the future, and leaves to the left of the handle indicate the past. The further away the leaves lie from the handle, the further away the events are in either time or even physical distance. First take a quick look inside the cup to see if there are any signs that jump out at you:

Long stalks indicate men. Shorter stalks indicate women. Pale or dark stalks indicate colouring. Slanted stalks indicate untrustworthy people. Tea leaf readers from all cultures based their readings on objects and images which were common in everyday life. Natural forces like the weather, or animals, people, and even man-made objects each may turn up as a tea leaf symbol. Some modern readers have added contemporary symbols to the list of possible images, for example, using cars to represent travel or roller coasters to represent drama. Other readers are more old-fashioned and like to stick with the universal images that all people have witnessed in their daily lives for thousands of years. As long as the reader is good at interpretation, the images that they choose to work with don't really matter. In a tea leaf reading, it is not only the shape that the leaves form which counts. Readers also place importance on which area of the teacup the leaves stick to. For instance, leaves that land near the handle represent events which will happen to the questioner. Leaves on the opposite side from the handle indicate events outside of the questioner's life, perhaps happening to a family member or friend. Traditionally, leaves that end up near the rim of the teacup are good luck. Leaves settled closer to the bottom of the cup may show disappointment or challenges. A good reader, though, recognizes his responsibility to be helpful and clear with the person receiving a reading from him. It is not a reader's place to scare or depress his subject. All omens and shapes in the cup can be seen as positive, because as we all know, it is sometimes necessary to endure great challenges before we can reap the appropriate rewards. We make many choices in our life's journey, and each choice is an essential step towards learning and growth. A good reader will respect this and guide his questioner in working through any upcoming challenges.

hysical Mediumship is by no means a new style of working, in trying to prove without a doubt, soul survival beyond death. It has been practiced for centuries, albeit behind closed doors and in dimly lit rooms, naturally causing doubt and fraudulent acts. Helen Duncan working with her guide Albert is reportedly one of the best known Physical Mediums to date. It was on one such occasion during the 2nd world war, whilst Helen was conducting a Physical séance, in red light conditions, that a connection was made with the Spirit of a young sailor. He was in full manifestation, wearing his sailor’s uniform, the name of his ship, clearly seen on his service cap HMS Barham . Witnessed by over 20 sitters. All those present heard him, in his own voice, clearly recall the last moments of his life aboard the ship. He stated he had drowned; he reported a torpedo had hit the ship and that his vessel had been sunk, in enemy action. He talked of top secret missions that only the authorities would have known about. The sailor was said to have been known to one of the sitter, hence his appearance. Several months later the admiralty released a press announcement confirming the Barham had been bombed and all aboard had drowned, thus validating the Spirit communication. Helens name was drawn to the attention of the admiralty of her work and news of the sailor materialising recalling evidence of happenings and events that were top secret. Helen was now a threat to national security, especially as the D Day landings were being planned. Fears were, if more secret information was to be leaked out it would compromise Britain’s security. The Government of the day authorised that she be arrested as a spy and then as a witch. Helen was the last person to be tried under the antic rated Witchcraft Act of 1735 and was found guilty and served 9 months in prison. Many witnesses came forward to testify her true genuine ability. She was said to have offered a séance, under strict conditions in the court room to validate her ability and innocence, this was declined. In November 1956 police raided a séance, conducted by Helen where an ectoplasmic form was grabbed. It is reported that under cover police men were amongst the sitters, witnessing at first hand what they believed to be regurgitated cheesecloth coming from the spirit cabinet but was in fact an ectoplasmic spirit form. Helen was strip searched for fraudulent practices. But nothing was found. In their ignorance the police had committed the worst possible sin of physical phenomena; that neither ectoplasm nor a Medium in trance should EVER, be touched. As the Spirit teachers have explained so many times, when this happens, the ectoplasm returns to the medium's body far too quickly and can cause immense sometimes even fatal - damage. When in trance a Medium’s body is often highly sensitive and vulnerable, as was in this

case. A doctor was summoned and discovered two, second degree burns across Helen's stomach. She was so ill that she was immediately taken back to her Scottish home and later rushed to hospital. Five weeks after that police raid she was dead. To this day there is an active campaign to clear Helen Duncan’s name. Sadly in the last 20-30 years there has been a decline in any form of tangible evidence from Physical Mediusmhip, of soul survival. We remain reliant of evidence obtained from history books. The phenomena seen was amazing. Unfortunately, these days it is quite rare to see it. We must ask ourselves why this is the case, especially in the light of modern technology, being able to capture evidence via video or photographic means as well as an increase in development circles since the start of the 21st century, but not necessarily physical mediumship circles. Combining our years of experience and both being natural born physical Mediums, we have dedicated time and effort into developing physical mediumship, of which takes many years of devotion and patience to develop. Jo & I work with various forms of lighting so that tangible physical evidence can be captured through photographs and on video to eliminate any form of trickery or fraud. We work on two levels, one of which is traditional ectoplasm as in Victorian times and secondly with a blue energy which was an unexpected ingredient that Spirit brought to our work, only last year. We are still experimenting with this energy but there is an intelligence that comes with it, as it responds on request. Such as changing colour and form and is easily photographed. To date we have discovered that the energy and the ectoplasm do not mix, however they do work side by side. Daylight manifestation/etherialisation is very rare, as is to capture ectoplasm which allows Spirit manifestation, to occur, as clearly seen from the above picture, captured by an attending student at one of our workshops. I was born in the East End of London to parents who were both Mediums. Spirit contact and strange phenomena is not new to me. I saw one of my spirit guides when I was just 7 years old; I remember it as if it was yesterday. My sighting was of a nun, who was to be my main communicator. I heard her, saw her and felt her, so solid was the image. Naturally I was frightened but growing up, I soon began to understand spirit and of their very different forms of communication. I have had many spirit visitations throughout my life some nice and some not so nice. My friends began to ask that I read for them. Impressions would fill my mind of futuristic happenings as well as of information of their loved ones, who had gone onto the other side. My sensitivities heightened during my adolescence, as is often the case with most mediums. I believe that each and every one of us has guides that watch over us, like teachers with pupils. I did not study the belief nor did I attend schools of training, it all came very naturally growing up in such a household. My learning and understanding of spirit still continues. I have never known such a subject to have so many different aspects to it, under one umbrella. My Mediumship abilities branched off into a specific style of working, as it does with most mediums. This was to be as a paranormal investigator, dealing with spirit entities that were either trapped, in the inbetween space between the earth plane and heaven, or refusal to go into the light, for one reason or another. Spirit earth walkers, as I call them, can invade the lives of ordinary people who have had no previous involvement and can become quite destructive and disturbing to the recipient. I am in the process of writing my book on the true haunted cases I have worked on to date. I am contacted by people who are experiencing strange phenomena in one form or another. I am often asked to investigate their location, to help cleanse the property or person. Each case I work on is unique in it patterns. I have experienced many different alleged haunting’s and happenings. My particular interest is within physical mediumship. I host workshops and Séances under red light conditions to try and prove soul existence of another dimension of life, albeit without a biological suit known as the body. Each of us has a Spirit Guide that is with us from birth and throughout our whole lives. This Guide is referred to as our . We have other Guides come and go along the way, but our Gatekeeper never leaves us. When we decide to work with Spirit it is most helpful to meet our Gatekeeper through meditation and to build up a relationship with them in order to further our growth. Our Gatekeeper will also be able to help us distinguish between different kinds of energies and protect us from the more negative ones. We simply have to ask our Gatekeeper to only let through Spirit that is there for good intention, and our Guides will accommodate. Also, when talking about protection, it is easy to put a white light protection around yourself. You can do this with visualization and intent by seeing, in your mind’s eye, a bubble of brilliant white light that is sent from the Universe completely surrounding you. In your heart you that this bubble will protect you from negative influence. The more you practice using this bubble, the stronger it becomes. Negative Spirits will give you a feeling that you are uncomfortable, whereas positive Spirits will give you a comfortable and secure feeling. Occasionally, you will get a Spirit come to you that has a very strong energy, that can leave you almost breathless, but even then the feeling is different, and not negative. I believe you learn to differentiate through time and practice of your gift. But as previously mentioned your Gatekeeper is the best line of defense, and if you build a good rapport with them, you will get their warning if something is not quite right. Getting to know your Gatekeeper is also the best way to develop your gift. You can receive messages directly through them and in learning how to communicate with them; it becomes easier to communicate with other spirit. Practice, patience & control over a busy mind and trust in

the messages you are receiving are all that are needed to progress, once you have the basics. It is often useful to find a development group that meets once or twice a week, in order to have other people to practice with. You will find that you are all on the same journey of learning and that the others in the group are more than happy to help you as you in turn help them. In the development group you will try different ways of getting messages through, using tools, such as cards or flowers, as well as reading each other without tools. We’ve all been there wondering if it is us talking to ourselves, is it really Spirits talking to us or is it our Guides? When we start out we all worry about negative Spirits and them coming through - the media really doesn’t help matters! What I have learnt through my development over the years is that your Gatekeeper (as Stella mentioned) will protect you and keep you from harm. They will give you warning signals but as you develop you will notice the signs or the change in energy. situation (which I am working on) is to put a mirror up around you so that the negative energy bounces off it. I also have a black tourmaline crystal at the side of bed (and have done for years) to protect me whilst sleeping, Anyway, that has taken me off track a bit so, let’s get back on it! Basically through developing, practice, meditation and lots of hard work you will recognise who is talking to you. To progress your development is up to you - everyone’s journey is different and we can only advise you. You will find which development and path is for you. You will find your own ways of giving and receiving messages but of course we can help with providing you with advice on situations. The High Priestess - what a woman of mystery. Wouldn’t you just love to know what she is thinking and hiding. She holds the key to our subconscious mind, our intuition and reminds us that we need to trust what feels right and what feels wrong. The High Priestess is the door way to black & white/right & wrong without the grey bits in between. Dreams are marvellous ways to help understand how we are feeling and if the High Priestess is drawn in a reading, depending on the situation of the cards, it reminds us to remember our dreams and look at the symbology surrounding the dreams to understand the meanings. Remember that messages and symbols are always being passed to us - songs on the radio, feathers, numbers, reoccuring words - if someone wants your attention they will find a way - or a person! Look at the way the High Priestess is sitting, not just between a gateway but there is also an element of balance - when she comes to you in a reading it can also mean that you need to look at something that is out of balance within your life. Use your intuition to understand how to rebalance those areas that need to changed. The High Priestess is also about looking within you to help you find information about yourself - if there is an issue you are burying she will help you work it out by working on your intuition and your psychic abilities - she will open you up more to make you see the situation from all angles but in plain hard facts too! She may be a quiet soul but she certainly says a lot without words.. It also represents the darker side of ourselves, the parts of us that we do not like to admit to, and yet, we need to ‘own’ everything about ourselves in order to be whole. We are but human, and to dismiss the more negative aspects of ourselves leaves us broken and incomplete. By knowing and accepting all that we are, we have more control over our actions and reactions. She is also representative of missing information in a situation that is surrounding you. In a financial situation, it could be that somebody is not being completely honest with you. In a health situation, it could be that there are more tests required as not all the information has been received yet, and maybe you or your doctor are missing something. I love to see the High Priestess in a spread when the client is trying to open up to spirit because it is confirmation that they are on the right path, that if they keep practicing their communication skills and trusting their intuition they will do well in reaching their goals. But also a reminder that they should not get set in their ways, and that they should be open to lots of other people’s ideas on spirituality and be willing to try new things that push them out of their comfort zone.

When this card appears in a spread it is a time to trust your intuition, your gut feelings about a situation. Thank you Stella for a wonderful and generous offer. I had a fantastic experience that I really want to share with you. Firstly there was just like a wind of colour around me and then I felt gold pour into the crown chakra and surround me in a white bubble - I can only presume this was Uriel giving me peace to relax and Gabriel working together. I couldn't move throughout but at the same time felt as if I was floating. The first Angel to come through was Raphael and then Michael and Jophiel. At one point Michael appeared holding Raphael and Jophiels hands and took me to a castle. They placed me there and Pegasus picked me up and took me on a journey. He flew me over rivers & mountains and showed me the beauty below. He told me to look at things in a different way and I have sown a lot of seeds that are growing just perfectly but I can't see it at the moment. At the same time Michael was using his sword to cut the knots in my stomach that were being caused by everything that is going on at the moment. I could feel it and the other thing was that I could feel the Reiki energy that I have flow from my hands and my feet. After Michael had finished with his sword I felt that I needed to place my hands on the area and the Reiki Energy flowed into it. I never saw a Pink Ray but I did see a bright red ray but it wasn't as strong as the others. All through this I had the Metallica song ' ' being sung but the words are actually very meaningful! I definitely feel a lot lighter and relaxed after the attunement. It was a wonderful experience and I look forward to working with the Angels. It finished with Zadkeil and his Violet Ray beaming down through my body - right through the centre and it was like a hot poker going straight through but not a horrible sensation at all. I am certainly not a sceptic as I talk to dead people but I am when it comes to Pegasus etc and I am not one to daydream in that way either so this has definitely made me reevaluate the way I look at things. Bright blessings to you dear Stella :D, Firstly I would like to extend my love & gratitude to you for my recent attunement!! I must say, it was such a beautiful experience, and a beautiful gift, as I have a love for these Blessed beings. Due to having to get my kids ready for school, I wasn't able to lie down & receive the attunement. At the scheduled time. A few hours later, when I had the house to myself, I lit my incense & candle at my Angel altar, called in my Guides for assistance & then stated my intention to receive. What followed was some tingling on the top of my head. Then I could feel someone appear to my left. During the attunement I also felt a peaceful, warm feeling, like I was floating inside a cloud. Also, I sensed that someone was standing right in front of me & holding my hands!!! You can just imagine my surprise when I read your email that you had astral travelled to us!!!!!

My mum sold her car and has been working 7 days a week doing 2 jobs for the last few years. She was absolutely determined to raise the money he needed and she has done it as a single person on her own. She also managed to go to his graduation and visit me in England last year which was a huge expense from Zimbabwe but because it was important she made it happen. She also looks after an African family who live on her property. She helps to pay for their food and school fees, she buys them clothes, medicine, takes the children out to do things, she just does everything she can to give them a better life. There is still a bit of a race divide in Zimbabwe so she does get looks sometimes when she goes out but she really doesn't care because she cares about them and wants to help them to have a better life.

hen communicating with Spirit and your Angel's it's important to keep your soul's independence. You might ask; what exactly does that mean? Well it means that Spirit and the Angels are here to guide us and not tell us what to think or how to feel or what to do. There is an exercise that you can do when you are seeking guidance from Spirit or your Angels and you are still unsure what you should do. It effectively can be used, with an open heart, mind and thanks to the Universe, to reverse the effect of karma.

In receiving the Silver Violet Flame attunement and using it in conjunction with the regular process of decrees, meditation and visualisation, you will speed up the transmutation process. am often asked if I really do see Angels, do I really believe in them; my answer is always yes of course. I do see them and I do believe in them. They have shown me so many times that they are near me and around me, reassuring me in times of trouble; helping me during times when I have felt unsafe; leaving signs when I have asked for myself and others. I am a hereditary intuitive Psychic, I come from a long line of Psychics and Mediums; ‘seeing’ that which many humans couldn’t, so seeing Angels came naturally to me. I started seeing Angels, gosh, probably around 20 years ago – long before Angels became ‘fashionable’ so to speak. I was going through a very difficult time; actually I was wondering whether to end my marriage. I felt desperate, it’s not an easy decision to make at the best of times, and I had three children to consider. Then I became aware of angelic presences with me. I just ‘knew’ the presences were angelic – the energy felt so different. Gentle, soft yet at the same time strong, yet comforting. It was a lovely feeling of unconditional love wrapped up with safety and the deep knowing that I was being watched over and protected. When thing felt particularly bad, I would call on Archangel Michael, ask him to stand behind me and wrap his wings around me. It felt as though I was being held in a wonderful embrace, cuddled and it always helped me to feel better. As I mentioned earlier, this was way before Angels became fashionable, so I didn’t speak of my experiences to anyone for fear of ridicule. One day I went for a palm reading (yes, even I go for readings!) and during the reading the woman exclaimed that she was seeing something she’d never seen before. She could see a huge Angel standing behind me with its wings wrapped around me. I couldn’t help smiling, as this was confirmation! I then explained what I had been doing and experiencing and I will never forget the look of surprise on her face! Well dear reader, I did file for divorce. It was long, difficult, and a trial; but I did get it in the end. All the way through, I kept my angels with me, they helped and supported me and I knew I would survive. It wasn’t many years after that that Angels began to be featured in the mainstream spiritual magazines that we can find in the supermarkets and newsagents.

And it was around this time that I also ‘found’ a healing modality known as ‘Integrated Energy Therapy’ (IET) or healing with the energy of the Angels. I had survived many difficult and testing times yet again, my emotional, physical and mental health was at an all-time low, when I visited a local psychic fayre and felt very drawn to have a reading with a lovely, warm Irish woman, who had a long line of people waiting for her. She was offering Angel card readings. My reading was amazing – she was spot on with everything and even picked up on my low mood and depression, despite me being excellent at putting on a brave face for the outside world. She told me about IET, gave me a leaflet and suggested I try it. Like you do, I popped the leaflet in a drawer, but kept getting it out and reading it; something in there resonated with me. Then one day, I called her and made an appointment. I went for the first session, found it very relaxing and pleasant, quite different in energy to Reiki, which I’d already experienced and trained in. She warned me to expect some physical or emotional reactions and releasing to the treatment, thank goodness! For the next week, the smallest room in house and I became best friends, as I literally released lots of ‘crap’ from my life and body! But I felt so much lighter, so much more alive. I went on to have a further two treatments with her and knew in my bones, that I had to train in this therapy. It was so powerful! So powerful yet so gentle, and I had experienced undeniable proof that it was assisting me to release old issues, traumas and emotional wounds from my life, body and energy field. Iona want to tell you about the oldest place of Spiritualism which is always overlooked but I have roots there with family coming from there (amazing what you find in genealogy!) and have been drawn there ever since. One day I promise to go and I know it will be an amazing experience. Most people think of Sacred Places such as Egypt and Native American Indian tribes, Lourdes etc but let me tell you about the Isle of Iona….. Iona (Scottish Gaelic: Ì Chaluim Chille) is a small island in the Inner Hebrides off the western coast of Scotland. It's Gaelic name, Innis-nam Druidbneach means ‘Island of the Druids'. It is only 1.5 miles wide by 3 miles long, with a population of around 120 permanent residents. 48 Scottish Kings, 8 Norwegian and 4 Irish are buried there and amongst the Scottish kings buried are King Kenneth I, Donald II, Malcolm I, Duncan I, Macbeth and Donald III. It was firstly inhabited by the Druids to escape the persecution of Imperial Rome and they founded a library on the Island. Then the Christian’s ‘built’ a cemetery and used as a royal burial ground. In 563, Iona’s fate would change forever with the arrival of the Irish and St. Columba, who was a descendant of the High Kings of Ireland. St Columba was banished from Ireland due to his involvement in the Battle of Cul Dreimhne. During this battle the King’s army was defeated with the loss of three thousand men, and the battle severely weakened the prestige & power base of the King. St Columba founded Iona monestary, which was built on the site of the Druid temple. The monastery was hugely successful (although little remains of the monastic buildings of this period), and played a crucial role in the conversion to Christianity of the Picts of present-day Scotland in the late 6th century as well as the Anglo-Saxon kingdom of Northumbria in 635. Many satellite institutions were founded, and Iona became the centre of one of the most important monastic systems in Great Britain and Ireland. At it’s height of popularity 150 monks lived on Iona. The nunnery was founded after the establishment of the Benedictine monastery, which was likely founded by Raghnall mac Somhairle in 1203. Raghnall's sister, Bethóc, became the first prioress. This was one of the two Augustinian nunneries in Scotland, St. Leonards Nunnery located at Perth being the other. Famously The Book of Kells may have been produced or begun on Iona towards the end of the 8th century. The Book of Kells is a manuscript Gospel book in Latin, containing the four Gospels of the New Testament. Around this time the island's exemplary high crosses were sculpted; these may be the first such crosses to contain the ring around the intersection that became characteristic of the "Celtic cross". The series of Viking raids on Iona began in 794 and, after its treasures had been plundered many times, Columba's relics were removed and divided two ways between Scotland and Ireland in 849 as the monastery was abandoned. Several centuries later Benedictane Monks established another Monastery, building the abbey which is still prominent to this day.

apart from a black cloak and was lying on a large cross. She was wearing a blackened silver chain with a cross hung around her neck and she also had scratch marks on her body. So, who was Netta? Well she was a student of the occult and a member of the 'Alpha et Omega' Temple (a branch of the Golden Dawn). Netta believed she was a healer and could heal people via telepathy (I suppose a bit like distance Reiki today). Prior to her death she sent a message to her housekeeper stating not to expect to hear from her for some time as she had "a terrible case of healing on". Apparently, in order to contact the spiritual world, Netta used to walk the beaches and moorland of the island each day. was also a Trance Medium as she mentioned to Mrs MacRae (whom she was boarding with) that prior to visiting the island she had gone into a trance that lasted a week. On Sunday 17th November 1929 Netta started to act more strangely: She was out of bed early and wanted to return to London immediately. She told Mrs MacRae that certain people were disturbing her telepathically, and then commented on a rudderless boat that went across the sky and messages she had received from other worlds. In those days though boats did not operate on a Sunday and Netta had to remain on Iona. On the Monday, Netta was missing but was found the next day on a Fairy Mound close to an ancient ruined village she had expressed in interest in, but never visited. She was buried by the islanders the following Friday. Stories of strange blue lights were reported to have been seen near her body along with a man in a cloak. Given the manner in which Netta was found it is probably safe to assume she was attempting some kind of ritual, possibly a kind of astral projection as hypothesised by Dion Fortune. Dion actually went further and accused Moina Mathers, leader of the Alpha et Omega Temple (following her husbands death) of the murder of Miss Fonario through psychic attack. She certainly couldn't have physically killed Netta, as Moina had died sixteen months earlier. Dion thought the scratch marks on Netta were similar to those on people she believed had previously been psychically attacked by Moina, although she would not have seen them herself. I think it is also safe to assume that given she was naked on an exposed mound in the middle of November, regardless of her mental state or perhaps because of it, that she succumbed to exposure/hypothermia. © Joanne Murray

“It’s not a dragonfly and neither a bird, but I enjoy the purring sound that the rocket makes as it tears raggedly through the dark night. Gopi, Chintu and Kitu see it spins and while it loops and reaches the Moon, let us clap our hands and celebrate .” Pappu was sleeping with his knees close to chest and as I observed him mutter all this, he suddenly let out a squeal, “Ah! Have I stumbled over something?” Pappu attempted to crawl on the bed and flashed a smile and with a sign of surety expressed, “Voila! There rests my parachute with the shrubs. Let me quickly grab it and show it all. But what is this soft piece that feels like sponge?” My son was visibly excited and he scratched his ears twice and said, “Who’s saying hmmm…?” He yawned and then warned, “Let me alert you that it’s my parachute. If you still want to hmmm, then carry on...” I laughed at his innocence and ruffled his hair. Suddenly, he screamed with joy, “Hanu, what are you doing here? Today is Diwali and is a very special day for you. Isn’t it?” He looked at me from the corner of his eyes and I gathered him in my arms as his 22-carat smile made the Diwali morning very positive. Very often he used to question me, “Papa, our life is around seventy years, so can’t we meet god even for a minute?” I was dumb on most occasions with no answers. There was one unique quality that compelled everyone to dish-out footthumping music whenever Pappu chanted the . Diwali was very special as I had always observed something different with Pappu on this day. Usually, there appeared a mark of indentation with some special designs where he slept. Pappu silently stepped out of the room and entered into an unknown place from other side of the laptop. I couldn’t believe my son was visible at two distinct places simultaneously! Minute after minute there was something unusual and every bone in my body was jostling for an inch of comfort. Pappu turned from east to north and finally headed for a dense jungle where nothing was visible, except ghostly trees in the milky white light of the moon. Hanu’s voice echoed, “You will have to nullify this code. Remember, the code will mature when someone approaches it and there is a possibility that you may feel very hot or cold in its immediate vicinity. If at any time you sense mist around your face, take it that you have reached your destination.” Pappu was now seen walking briskly along a seashore and asked Hanu, “How does the code look like and how do I touch it?” Hanu’s voice sounded very different now. “You cannot see it; you can only feel its presence or even hear someone wailing when you are near it.” These were probably the last words that I heard and everything after this was pin drop silence. I don’t know what happened next but when I gathered my senses, I could experience a different life. The biggest question that bothers me now is: How did Pappu nullify the code? This is still a mystery as he narrates a different story every time we ask him and confirms the last one to be true? I can remember the last story he shared with me. Papa, when I was crossing the railway track near to Shashi uncle’s house, I stumbled over something and sank to the earth’s lowest depth where there was a dense gathering of hot clouds around a chilling atmosphere. It was very strange and I felt as if it was December and I was celebrating my birthday, but could equally experience the warmth of May! I could see an ‘Archangel’ when I opened my palms and pressed them hard. While I kept slipping deep into the earth, a red flame appeared on the surface of water and turned orange-yellow and danced and vanished. This was followed by a strong blow of air and then a silver coin appeared with electric violet light. A huge drop of water exploded and I was thrown back on the railway track by an unseen force. I don’t know whether I was successful in destroying the code, but when I looked up into the heavens, I saw Hanu happy and he blessed me. This story has made its way to my heart and is totally different than what Pappu narrated last month. I think I am the luckiest father to have a child who gave me this rare chance to see god—when alive!

But now, I have mind-boggling questions and no answers. Why did Hanu say that the one person with whom you share this story would have something more special in his life? Will something again happen in the heavens? I am anxiously waiting for my turn but cannot envisage the challenge written for me. I pledge that if this happens in my life, I will share it with the entire universe. Crystals have been used since ancient times to assist in healing and the changing of thought patterns, which then enables healing. We are all made from energy, all matter is energy and crystals each have their own specific energy vibration which will, when in close proximity to our own energy, affect the speed at which we energetically vibrate. This is because our vibration rate will try to become the same as that of the crystal. By meditating with a crystal or by using it to focus on an area of healing, it will magnify the effect of the process. Crystals are also able to store energy, so the more often you use a particular crystal for the same thing, the more powerful it will become in assisting you. Crystals can store energy, whether it is good or bad, so periodically, it is necessary to clear your crystals of any negative energy that they have picked up from being used. Even a crystal sitting in a room full of people will pick up the energy from those around it. It will leave the people feeling good, but the crystal will have changed its energetic vibration slightly by all of the negative energy in the room. It is then necessary to ‘clear’ and ‘re-program the crystal to vibrate at its original speed in order for it to continue being beneficial in healing. Crystals come from inside the Earth, and therefore putting them back in the Earth is a good way of cleansing and reenergizing them. You can either place the directly into the soil, or you can wrap them in a small piece of cloth first and then dig a small hole in your garden and place them into it for a day. This will allow them to return to their original vibration and to dispel all the negative energies that they have picked up through use. You can also use either the light from the sun or the moon to cleanse and recharge your crystals. On the night of a full moon, place your crystals somewhere where directly in the moonlight and allow them to soak up the energy of the moon and cleanse themselves of the negative. The morning sun will have the same effect on your crystals but do not leave them in bright sunlight for too long or they will fade. No more than a couple of hours are necessary for this method to work. Crystals can be cleansed by smudging with white sage, pass them through the smoke of the sage and you will effectively have a happy crystal again. Other methods are, wash in a clear running stream, or in salt water. Use Reiki to cleanse and recharge by filling your crystal up with the Reiki energy. Also the method of intent, if you are any good at visualising and setting your intent, you can meditate with your crystal and clear it this way.

You can make crystal grids which for a concentration of energy, this could be placed under your healing bed or used to cleanse other crystals. There are so many uses for crystals; I could write a whole chapter on that alone, but maybe that should be for another day. Once you start to use crystals you will see why so many people are mad for them. Their energy is effective and yet gentle and the use of them is as easy as you want it to be. They are easy to obtain and easy to maintain to their peak performance. There are crystals for every reason you can think of, and you can mix the up and carry some in a little bag everywhere you go to keep you feeling on top of the world. Choosing crystals to match the colours of the Chakra’s and placing them on your body accordingly will give you a beautiful cleansing and energizing meditation. They can be used to get rid of headaches, or to change learned thought patterns that are no longer serving you, or they can be used to open your psychic abilities and get you in touch with your higher self. A love affair with crystals is a lifelong thing, and once you start using them, you will discover that they will give you as much as your needs demand and all that they require in return is to be cleansed regularly.

On July 29, 2013, Lilith will join in the Grand Sextile, also known as the Double Sextile or Tetrahedron, of energies to assist in bringing in the new paradigm and higher vibrational waves of acceptance and light. This is the one we’ve been waiting for. Many are seeing this configuration of Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Neptune, Pluto and the Moon in water and earth (Yin) signs as a stargate or a means to evolve into more balanced and complete individuals. On the world front, more old institutions constructed during the male dominated era will suffer and either evolve or fade. I first became interested in Astrology as a teen. It fascinated me that there was this ancient body of knowledge and belief system that had survived the ages. As a professional medium and psychic investigator with more than 40 years experience, I am often contacted by people who have encounte red extraordin ary phenomena in one form or another asking for my assistance. Each case is unique with its own individual patterns and circumsta nce and it is interesting to note that many people who experience poltergeist phenomena or hauntings simply do not know where to turn or whom to contact. One aspect of my work as a medium involves spirit release. I find it extremely fascinating and rewarding work and am still learning from each and every case I have been involved in. I hope that by highlighting just one of my cases, of which there are many, it will show what can happen to very ordinary people and how I work with my guides in helping them. What follows is just one such case. I received a telephone enquiry from a lady called Jade. She had got my name from a previous cleansing case I had worked on and asked if I could assist in investigating some ghostly happenings at her home in Hertfordshire. She said that for as long as they have lived there her family have been constantly visited by spirits and it started only a few weeks after moving in. Jade shares her home with her husband, a young daughter and son and two boisterous dogs, they are a very ordinary, loving, family living in a 70’s style home located on a housing estate. Due to the unsettling activity Jade was becoming increasingly agitated and distressed and word soon got around about what seemed to be poltergeist activity in her home and several mediums and paranormal groups became interested in visiting her in the hope of capturing and recording spirit activity. Their visits had done nothing to ease her fears and worries and if anything the activity had become more intense. She felt her only hope was to ask a local

priest to come in and perform a blessing, but it was apparent shortly after his visit that her active spirit had returned and an appointment was made for my visit. I prefer to work without having any prior knowledge of the haunted areas in the location I am visiting or the full facts regarding who the spirit has targeted. In effect this gives me a ‘clear page’ to work from and that way no previous stories are conflicting with my findings. In the first instance I ask my spirit guides if I will be successful in investigating the case and I get a sign, a thumbs up or down, a very simple process. Then, sitting quietly with pen and paper, I tune into my guides and ask their assistance. I start to write, this is best described as doodling. These doodles come direct from my guides and the information received is significant to the case, they are like pieces of a puzzle and it is not always obvious knowing where they fit. Names, dates and emotional sensations immediately start to flood my mind, prior to entering the location or meeting with the client. I ask my guides what rooms are being affected and if there are any portals (spiritual doorways) present, and if so where they are placed within the location. I also ask who is being targeted

and why. In this case what was revealed in my doodling was that both the children were being affected. It was physical in the fact they were being harmed and were somehow physically weakening; the spirit was operating like a vampire and drawing energy in order to maintain its own existence. Jade confirmed this was indeed the case and that both her children had an impaired immune system and that doctors could not find the cause. Numerous tests had been carried out on them both, but nothing concrete was discovered. Jade had told me, prior to my visit, that whilst she was watching her children playing in the garden out of her kitchen window, she had witnessed them both being swooped up in the air, levitating a few feet off the ground, then slapped back down, face forward. This was when she contacted a spiritual group and then the priest for help to bless the house. She had never encountered anything of this nature prior to moving into the house. As with any investigation I prepare the night before, making sure all instruments are ready and charging, such as cameras, infrared video and voice recorder. I asked that the father along with the children be removed from the house for the evening whilst I was there. Jade had her sister stay with her for moral support and was witness to what transpired. I was instructed by my guides to concentrate on both children’s rooms, but especially the daughter’s bedroom. The portal was identified as the attic. These portals are like a worm holes of energy, which a spirit can travel through into our dimension. These artefacts are often associated with cold drafts and strong vibrations which are often felt once in, or near, them. The attic entrance is in front of their daughter’s bedroom. The air when entering the bedroom was quite suffocating and very different to the rest of the house. Jade confirmed that this room was the height of spirit activity; and even the dogs would not enter. When we arrived, Jade explained that all hell had broken out the night before. She told me they were woken up at 3.12 am to a loud scratching and banging sound coming from the attic. Both now

wide awake they sat bolt upright in the bed awaiting whatever force was about to reveal itself to them, knowing in their logical mind that the noise was far too loud to be any bird, when suddenly the attic hatch door flipped open with astonishing force. They went on to say that this ‘thing’ had jumped down through the attic into the hallway, he, they were certain it was male, was almost solid. They felt extremely frightened for themselves and their children and were almost paralysed with fear when they heard the most horrible growling sound come from it. They instantly felt his anger. With great speed it took off into their daughter’s room where it woke her. She screamed and was extremely traumatised by the experience. It is often the case that prior to my visit, the ‘spirit earth walker’ will increase in activity, almost as if aware and disapproving of my arrival. I had set up my equipment, but as on previous occasions the video recorder failed as the batteries were drained, even though they were charged the night before, as did the batteries in the camera, however I am happy to say the voice (or should I say the growl) of the ‘ spirit earth walker’ was captured. He was very angry that I was able to identify him as a reverend who had lived in the home some years previously. It was later confirmed that a reverend had formerly resided there, but that Jade had never met him or knew anything about him as the house was empty for some time before they bought it. I asked my spirit guides to come in and work amongst us to assist in communicating with the troubled ‘spirit earth walker’. To start up a form of communication to try to identify what it was it wanted from the property, land or family. A connection was made with him and through direct spirit communication he told me he wanted his book and letters; he was a very agitated. Jade confirmed that post addressed to this entity does still on occasion come to the house and that a letter had arrived only two days prior to my visit. She had it in her car, for re-posting. I asked her to get it for me. The post mark on the letter was from India, it was from other reverends and religious factions working at a children’s sanctuary. Opening the letter had obviously sparked an anger in him so great that the whole room actually blackened. The room had become like a vortex of energy, almost like an echo chamber. Jade complained of feeling quite dizzy and sick. The aroma in the room was vile to say the least. Bad drains would not suffice to identify the smell. The freezing cold atmosphere was felt by all. I asked out loud for protection for us and started to pray for the soul of the ‘spirit earth walker’. I was experiencing a pain to my right arm, a feeling best described as a Chinese burn, I felt an intense pressure on my arm and held it outstretched for others to see. Fingertip bruising could be easily witnessed appearing like a hand grip around my arm. I continued praying even louder and had noticed that Jade had gone completely white; her face drained of all colour. I called her name to get her attention and her face had a glazed look on it. Dark circles surrounded both her eyes and she looked straight at me, but not focusing, I knew he was affecting her. I asked Philip to grab her as it was witnessed by all that she was levitating about two inches above the floor at the same time the back of her head was hitting the wall continuously. She could not speak and had a transfixed expression on her face. This was naturally frightening for her sister to witness. I demanded that the earth walker release her, which he did and that’s when he recorded his anger, this can be heard on my website under ‘audio’ on the forum. He said, through me clairvoyantly, that he wanted his book. I relayed what I was hearing in my mind. Jade was recovering from her shock and was not aware what had happened. The earth walker, the reverend, wanted his book then he would be gone. I felt what seemed like anger rising in me, and knew it was my guides working through me. I stormed out of the daughters’ bedroom and into the sons’ bedroom while Jades sister followed in hot pursuit. He pointed at the boys fitted wardrobe, to a top cupboard. Jade and her sister had said there were no books or anything in there, only her son’s action men and Lego bricks. He was quite insistent, so a chair was brought in allowing the top cupboard to be reached he was talking so fast in my mind, he was getting very excited. Jade had told me that no items were left in the house prior to them moving in. A very large, white, ornate bible was found, It needed two hands to hold it exactly where he had told us to look. A bookmark had been placed in the book, at a passage marked ‘come unto thee little children’. The bookmark was a picture of their daughter’s latest school photo, taken only a month previously. They had not seen that photo for some time and didn’t even know of the existence of the bible in theirs sons’ bedroom. Logic asks how can a book so large materialise in their sons cupboard, which had not previously been there prior to their move and that a school photograph of their daughter was found

being used as a book mark, highlighting a children’s passage Why? and how? The investigation continued and whilst I had asked Philip to read the passage, I tore the letter up in shreds and asked for the reverend to reveal why he was angry and why he refused to enter the light. His answer was shocking as he revealed he was frightened of redemption. He was guilty of wrong doings to children and knew he would need to have to face the consequences. He had been hiding behind the security and camouflage of his dog collar for many years allowing him safe passage for his addiction. He knew this was wrong and that judgment day was beckoning, he preferred to say in the grey matter the in-between realms, rather than face his sins. I asked the higher realms to collect him, for him to start his journey for forgiveness and to move on and leave this family in peace. Some moments passed, all was quite, this was an important time of the clearance. I had sensed reluctance from him at first, deemed as being caused by his own fears and then a release; I knew he had surrendered to what fate he must now face. It was done. I returned to the portal to close it down. A healing prayer was given to Jade and the home blessed. It was immediately noticed by all that the smell had gone, the room had warmed and all had felt quite and peaceful. I had destroyed the bible page by page once back at my home, and said a prayer of forgiveness for him and asked for him to receive redemption and peace as I did so. I instructed Jade in the use of further protective measures and mind energy techniques, I do this in all my cases. Information received from Jade after the investigation I received an update from Jade saying that they have not experienced any paranormal activity since my visit, which is a tremendous relief, especially as poltergeist activity was experienced on a daily basis. She told me that they are all sleeping through the night and that both her son and daughter are getting well again and no longer require any further medical tests. What follows are excerpts taken from email correspondence received from Jade. “The evening before Gail was due to visit we had our newly decorated entrance hall destroyed, an extremely heavy mirror lifted off of a cabinet it was resting on and flew through the air smashing everything in its way. It was at that moment all my fears were confirmed and I waited in anticipation for Gail’s arrival. I decided to take photos of the incident before clearing away the debris, which I did not look at until Gail had visited. The mirror landed facing upwards, it clearly showed an elderly gentleman’s (or man – not very gentle) face and shoulders looking straight back at me.” “My son had been suffering with sleeplessness, and was often very scared at night, saying he was being woken by something / someone. Gail advised me to tell my son to imagine himself wrapped in huge angel wings. Whilst he is wrapped in wings no one can wake him. So my son did this and that night my husband and I were awoken by an almighty crash, we ran to my son’s room to find Lego strewn across my son’s bedroom floor. More surprisingly, my son was still fast asleep. The following morning my son said to me ‘Ha! The wings work mummy, he tried to wake me and I just laughed at him that really annoyed him didn’t it’! Gail reencountered the incident and conversations between my son, my husband and I, telling me the reverend got so angry at my son, he smashed his Lego house. This amazed me”. “The next thing I knew was I was feeling physically sick as I ran to the bathroom, I found myself in an almost dream state, everything was in slow motion, it took, what felt like minutes to realise my head was banging against the wall and I was frozen unable to move. I could see Gail mouthing something to me, but I could not hear her, it felt like I was under water. I eventually could hear Gail saying ‘you are an oak tree, put your roots in the ground’ as I looked down I realised I was quite a few inches off of the floor and I was pinned against the wall. It took me some time to register what I had to do, but eventually I put all my energy into getting my feel back on the ground. Gail was amazing, she was very strong and took control of the moment, which I am very thankful for. Gail had recorded that moment on tape, the reverend was chanting at her and then as he pushed passed her to get to me, he shouted move, Gail offered me the opportunity to listen to the tape, but I declined.” Gail Peacock www.spiritconnexions.com

o why is it that very often when we are in a relationship there is an attraction to being out with the girls (or guys), free from ties and having to worry about anyone else and yet when we are single we have a growing desire to be safe, secure and having fun with that one special person sharing the last rolo and surrounded by big fluffy hearts enviously gazing at other couples as if they have everything we have ever wanted. As human beings can we ever be happy or content in either situation completely and how do we get to that point of balance if we are in a relationship? A partnership spiritually speaking is often believed to be the hand of fate, where past life influences or even our spirit guides step in to bring us the chosen person to walk the forever pathway - but in the height of passions, and relationships sure are complicated, we can get confused and lose sight of boundaries just the way we do when waiting for a relationship. We should not entirely let a relationship swallow us up, every waking minute so we cancel all other appointments, deeds, work plans and ideas we may have had before we met them. Yet, it is inner freedom that enables us to become “evolutionaries” who serve humanity and the planet by stretching our minds, souls, hearts & vision beyond what is considered socially, intellectually & spiritually normal for our culture. If your conscious and/or unconscious anxieties, insecurities, obsessions, compulsions, addictions, and internalized “should” messages run your inner self, you cannot experience inner freedom. Many people see these negative forms of inner talk and often self-sabotaging inner impulses as related to ego, libido, the inner child, lower self, the devil, or cultural and family conditioning. Having something or someone to blame these troubling things on is not going to produce inner freedom, however. It takes time and work to achieve inner freedom; inner work. It is often said that political freedom is not free; the same applies to inner freedom. Achieving inner freedom often involves years of spiritual and personal growth disciplines such as meditation, prayer, yoga, journaling, psychotherapy, spiritual direction,contemplative & artistic activities. Those who delve deeply into the human mind, heart & soul in a consistent and serious manner are usually the ones who achieve inner freedom. Sometimes that means overcoming an addiction to alcohol or drugs with the help of a support group; sometimes it means being able to work with a therapist to move into and through some deep emotional pain &traumas whose effects have been damaging. hen we are first thrust into this world from the womb of our Mother we are totally dependent of another for our every need. We need somebody to feed and clean us, somebody to take care of our warmth and comfort. We rely on the love of another to help us grow and to feel part of this world. Even though we are unable to move around or feed ourselves, we are still capable of getting our every need taken care of with the power of our lungs, we cry and squawk like wild things until somebody takes the time to see what all the noise is about and endeavours to make us happy again. Is this the beginning of our determination to survive in this world, to show our power and to have another running around after us? As we grow older, our need for independence rears its head very early on, we want to become strong enough to lift our heads to look around and take in all the new wonders that this world has to offer, and then our next instinct is to crawl, then stand and walk, so that nothing is beyond our reach. We want to be the one holding the spoon at meal times, even if the food ends up at the other side of the room, so we learn to eat using our fingers, and explore the sensation of taste, deciding what we like to eat and what we would rather not. There is so much learning crammed in to the first couple of years of life that it is amazing to try and comprehend that by the age of 3 we have come so far removed from the helpless little newborn that we started in this world as. It is human nature to want to discover new things and have new experiences, fear is an emotion that is learnt and comes to us as we develop our intellect. We are told that if we do a certain action we will experience pain and if it is drummed into us enough we decide that we never wish to experience that pain so we will never do that action, But before we understand the meaning behind the words that are used to keep us safe, we go right ahead and try the action, and therefore experience the pain. Two different ways of learning, both, causing fear. How much do we let fear hold us back from achieving our hearts desire? How many times are we willing to go ahead and experience the pain? Of course this is determined by the individual, and the way they have been kept safe from actions that could hurt them. Whether the pain is physical pain or emotional pain, both of these things invoke fear and make us question whether our beliefs are worth holding onto and whether we should step out of our comfort zones and try something new. The way our minds work is very much down to the conditioning that we have received whilst growing up. Some parents will encourage their offspring to try new things; others will try to keep them wrapped up safely in cotton wool for as long as is humanly possible.

How, as a parent, do you decide which way you will raise your children? It is preferable to be somewhere safely in the middle of the two extremes and most parents just naturally manage to do a great job. This brings us to adults that are intelligent enough to understand that certain things are not good for them, and yet their very nature compels them to want to try new things, as many new things as they can, in order to experience as much of this world as is possible. Enter the adrenalin junkie who takes extreme sport very seriously, and would rather take the risk than miss out on the experience, this personality type finds thrill in the danger that they put themselves in. On the other end of the scale are the type of people who would not even consider doing anything remotely â&#x20AC;&#x2DC;out thereâ&#x20AC;&#x2122; or dangerous and would perhaps shy away from a fast car ride. This personality type is often introverted, and very quiet. Again most of us are usually tucked into the middle somewhere and enjoy the thrill of something new but have enough fear to keep us safe. We hear over and over that fear is not an emotion that we want to have, we should let go of fear and have faith that things will turn out for the best. We are told that fear leads to anger which leads in turn to dis-ease within the body. But is fear really that bad for us? My personal feeling is that fear has a very important place in our lives, and that whilst we do not want to live in constant fear or everything and everyone it is very healthy to understand what fear is and why we feel the emotion. It is important to accept that fear is part of the vast range of human emotions and has a very important role in making us whole. Never dismiss fear or feel upset with yourself for feeling afraid. The important part to remember is to not hold on to the fear; do not let the fear consume you and your actions. Fear comes to us as a warning, a reminder to stop and use our intellect before we take action that may indeed cause us pain or anguish. Once we reach adulthood we are expected to be completely independent of anybody else in our decisions and actions. We are expected to have enough intelligence to know what is acceptable and what is not, and fear plays an important role in allowing us to achieve this. When our body displays an emotion it is because it is the best emotion that we can have in that instant to express how we are really feeling. It is always good practice to allow the emotion its place, and then decide if you are holding on to it for too long and allowing it to cause you problems. We should acknowledge our right to have fear, anger, hurt and frustration, all of these darker emotions have their place. They only become a problem if we let them dominate our decision making completely without using our intellect alongside them.

I have been reading the Tarot for the major part of my adult life, at least the last 23 years or so, and I am happiest when I am reading for a client, when I can see that I have in some small or large way helped them to cope with their perceived problems. When we are In-Dependent we rely and trust our own fine tuning, our own intuition, our own soul, heart and passions. Once we can connect in with this sense of unity, which is created from within, we then choose to become self-responsible; responsible for ALL we create and attract into our lives.. It’s a change of perception that is then needed to understand that all things really DO happen for a reason, that there is good, even great, in every perceived “negative experience”. here is a general consensus and extensively spread thought amongst those in the Worldwide Spiritual Community that we are currently going through one of the most important revolutionary times in human history. It is being portrayed and promoted as a transitional time where we are moving from duality and separateness to emerge into oneness and wholeness. To raise the vibrations and consciousness of humanity as a collective along with the living planet we dwell upon, Mother Earth. It is to bring peace, love, joy, balance and alignment to the Earth. To end suffering, condemnation, judgement, division and disconnection. On a personal, individual level, our layers that have cloaked us, that have been placed around our core essence over lifetimes through patterning, agreements, conditionings, contracts and learning’s are being shed. We are being pushed and prodded by the Universe and our own inner stirrings to embrace these changes and new energies that we are transgressing, by doing the hard yards of peeling away the sheaths surrounding us to becoming more aware of our true authentic selves, our innate abilities and strengths. We are being urged to uncover and stand in our personal power and light, to be counted. It is opening our eyes to the truth of who we are and to the truths of the world around us. This process is also purported to contain the breakdown on a grand scale of the corporations, governments and religions that are fear based and ruled by power and control. They have risen over time in stature to dominate, render and hold the general masses powerless, dependent and without freedoms. We are seeing and hearing about the dissolution of governments and investigations of abuse in churches as overwhelming amounts of people are demanding truth, integrity, equality and transparency! We are in an age that we have the super highway of the internet and social media at our fingertips, giving us the opportunity to seek and acquire answers to all our questions. What we need to be very aware of and be very discerning about, is all the information available and the people or spirit that may be delivering these thoughts, knowledge and messages! There appears to be a shift of fear and control from mainstream religion of hierarchy, dogma, structure and conditions to the ‘new age spiritualism’ where those that are awakening are finding themselves once again in another manner of conformity! As we are striving to attain within our own

lives, a clear sacred space of honesty, respect, empathy and compassion to be projected as a ripple effect to all of whom we come in contact, at times it feels and seems like we have actually been taken back decades and centuries. Back to a time when standing up and in your power, speaking your truths and embracing the opinions and differences of others.....finds you being ostracised, isolated, damned and treated with terror of shattering the illusions that has be set up and played out by those not willing to let go of the reign of superiority and specialness!!! We are told to walk our own path to the beat of our own drum, then in the same sentence be told to make sure your are on the ‘right’ path, their path, the one you must follow or you won’t get what you deserve as you are unworthy.....does that remind you of something! I for one am absolutely aware of previous lives where I have been hunted and persecuted for being different, following my heart and nature and offering my loving services to others for the greatest good of all....I am not going to allow this to occur again in this lifetime! Find your inner significance, the genuineness of knowing that you are good enough, that you are worthy, you are deserving and you are finding your way through the maze of uncertainty and the unknown to an astonishing place that we have yet to completely discover....the core essences of us! ife can throw us unforseen challenges... with the intention to make us grow, learn and develop into stronger, more resilient people. Its how we respond, react and deal with the challenges that matters. Its a little test from the universe and challenges are not meant to break us. I wanted to share a little story, or recent challenge, and what I learnt. Eighteen months ago, my husband and I were both employed in professional , decent paying jobs. We have two young boys and we were stressed and our relationship was not faring too well. I was not enjoying my job, I wanted out! So did he. I was offered a redundancy.… woo hoo! I was happy to leave it all behind me and start fresh, focus on the boys and plan my future. However..... my husband was also made redundant! Oh Oh. Had we created this with our intention and vibrations? I believe so. The universe always listens. We wanted out, so it showed us the door! Feeling our new found freedom, we both started our own businesses. Security of income was a thing of the past. We were both working from home. We were in a state of panic and madly trying to achieve things we were not yet ready to achieve. Our focus was on not having enough. Not having enough to pay the bills. Not having enough. Not having enough. And guess what??.......we of course, didn’t have enough! The more we worried about not having enough, the less we had. The more we stressed, the more stressful life got. It was a destructive cycle... I believe in the power of our thoughts and the law of attraction. I tried to focus on abundance and prosperity, but they were just words..... the energy behind my words and affirmations did not align. I was manifesting lack on a subconscious and conscious level. I had a ‘turn-around’ moment, when our hot water system broke down, we couldn’t afford $1,00 for a new one. We went 11 days with no hot water. I was boiling 30 pots of water a day. A beautiful, generous and amazing friend dropped us off bags of groceries to help us out, I cried and I cried some more. I don’t usually cry. It was one of those rock bottom moments. Something had to change. That something was my attitude and thoughts. I refused to break. I was strong. I CHOSE to remain positive. I CHOSE to attract a new lifestyle. I had faith that things would be ok, and I focused on gratitude. Gratitude for everything I did have. Gratitude for the cold water I had, and the electricity I had to boil the water. Gratitude for my family. Gratitude for my abilities. Gratitude for the lessons and gratitude for the new found appreciation, love

and strength me and my husband had for each other. Gratitude for EVERTHING! I then found myself holding a book on the law of attraction... you probably know the one?.. ‘The Secret’. I had never read it, because I thought it was nothing I didn’t already know. But oh my, it gave me a jolt, a kick in the bum and a wake up call!! Yes, I was creating my reality.... Woopsy! People who have the Heron as totem animals are generally people who like to spend time by themselves. They don’t like lots of people around them and reminds me of the Hermit Tarot Card. Independency is the key word with the Heron. You don’t like to be told what to do and if you want to do something you’ll do it. You are also ‘flighty’ in nature - so you start one thing and decide it’s not for you so you go on to something else. You are the same with people. You are loyal to those that you are close to and make friendships to those that you know will stay loyal to you. The moment that you realise there is no loyalty or you have learnt the lesson required from them you will fly away from them. As well as being independent, people with the Heron also are very territorial and will defend themselves as well as the people that are close to you. You don’t waste time in defending yourself and others. Look at those long legs on the Heron which allows it to walk out into the deep depths of the water but able to remain balanced. The Heron reminds us that through all the emotional episodes we have in our life we will learn from them and come back more balanced for them. Having the Heron in our lives with these big long legs also shows us that you are able to see the bigger picture in situations - you can see both sides to the argument and by being so independent means that you will make up your own mind. Having the Heron come to you means that it is teaching you to learn to stand on your own own two feet. Call upon the Heron if you require strength to stand up to your convictions. If you feel as if you need to become independent the Heron is always there to help you. If you need to defend yourself or others around you the Heron will not be far away to aid you in defending your terriority.

Today I want to talk about pets and transition. This is an area I often cover being a pet psychic and animal communicator and not the easiest part of the job either. Pets respect us and we respect them but how often do we truly know what our pets are feeling or saying to us? The truth is we don’t. Unless you can do what I do then it’s different. We can hear them, feel their pains and relay what they are saying and feeling back to their owners. Pets suffer ill health just like we do and it is so easy just to take them to the vets and hope they have the answer in a bottle or injection with a lovely bill to pay with no guarantee it will even work. But do you know what they really feel? What if they were trying to tell you they didn’t want to go the vet but stay at home with you? Truth is you don’t because we take it for granted that we are doing the best by them but if you can’t hear them how do you know that for sure? You don’t. Many a time we have had a really bad cold that has lingered on for a little too long and you don’t have much appetite and keep going hot and cold… Next minute you are scooped up from your comfort and shoved in a box, taken on a bumpy and noisy ride somewhere to find yourself being plonked on a table with someone shoving a thermometer where the sun don’t shine…. Let’s face it… How would you react? If no one told you where you were going? No one prepared you. No one gave you time to muster up enough energy to gather your strength to go… Seriously think about it… How would you really feel? Wouldn’t you like at least a choice or even be forewarned? In the more serious cases whereby a pet has been ill for a while and after numerous trips to the vet and them starting to place it in your mind that it’s nearing the time to end their life you are left with choices…Hurt, anger, frustration, a sense of loss and the questions of “what do I do?” “do I let them live in the hope they suddenly recover” “how do I tell the kids?” “I don’t want them to go” “I can’t bear to think about it”….. While you have all this going through your mind has it even crossed your mind as to what your pet might want? It’s their life so surely they should get the choice? Some people don’t even believe pets can talk or even have an opinion or feelings. That’s fine but I have to feel sorry for these people as they are denying themselves the joy of what pets talk about and memories they remember and situations around them etc. they are denying themselves the happiness and denying their pet the right to be heard. Back to the scenario… The time is coming for your pet to be put to sleep, this is one of the services I offer to link in with what your pets wishes are. Some prefer to get it over with, some prefer to battle it out and let nature take its course, some prefer to stay at home with their family and go, others prefer to do it alone. At least this way you get to know what your pet really wants and by doing that, by hearing what they have to say is doing the very best by your pet as it is their own

choice and one you have respected and not just carted them off with no explanation as to where they are going and why you have tears streaming down your face. Yes it is an extremely emotional time and yes it may not be what you personally want but we are not talking about your death here but your pets. This is where we have to be strong and put our pets needs first before our own. Once I have linked with your pet to discuss what they would like to do I then stay with them throughout to relay any information or messages they may want to tell their families or the fact they need the blanket over them or that they want their heads raising up a little more. All the things we would want for comfort only we have a voice that can be heard by all. Your pets don’t. Sometimes I can be up all night linking in with a pet to make sure they are ok and as comfortable and in as little pain as possible. Sometimes it can be all week or over a few days. Every pets needs are different and each one individual. I can explain to them what is happening, I can see when a loved one already in the spirit world is coming for them and what they look like and explain that it’s ok to go and that they are not alone and I will be with them every step of the way until the peaceful transition into spirit world takes place and with them feeling relaxed and calm about it all. I don’t need to physically be with the pet as communication takes place via telepathy and images and photograph stages from their lives so can link in with a pet anywhere in the world which has its advantages as then I am not limited to however many miles from where I live. Ascended pets Connection can also be established when pets are in the spirit world ensuring they are ok and I pass on information that they tell me to the owners. This can be anything from memories in the past, situations which have been happening around to which proves they have been to visit you, even telling me what toys they liked to play with and some pets have even taken to having a little “bitch” about someone or a fellow pet or animal on the earth plane. They have their comical sides too as well as their more serious sides of their personality which would also show through in a reading.
