During the 1950’s life between the sexes and races was entirely different to modern day.
it was considered unheard-of for women to sport denim. In families, workmen were the only members to wear this sustainable fabric, purely because of it’s durability to last.
The aim of this is to encourage young adults and teenagers to increase their background knowledge of what denim was used for in the 1950’s and how it’s purpose has changed.
