Find an appropriate image as a model for your landscape Outline the large color and value shapes in your image Place grid on top Make new grid on paper Using grid copy the outlines from your first image Begin using collage techniques to fill in and match your landscape. 8. Abstraction: A simplified version of recognizable subject matter

Non-Objective: Art that shows no recognizable subject matter, but rather elements and principles of art
