April showers and Peppa Pig springs to mind this month. I always make the most out of ‘jumping in muddy puddles’ at this time of year and it’s been so mild that less layering has been needed. It’s nice to get out and about, and I’ve been using the Hoop app to keep up with what’s going on in town – perfect for those rainy days and beyond!
WHERE TO GO This month I’m taking one of my godchildren to Deen City Farm: a sweet little farm that’s part of The National Trust’s Morden Hall Park. You can buy some animal feed for the 150-plus residents – which include Kimby, a cute alpaca and Edna the barn owl – as well as some locally-sourced jam for yourself. There’s always loads happening here, from lambing to riding lessons.
