We wanted (what we now know is called) a travel system that was both stylish and practical. It was important to us that it collapses easily, but also springs back into life swiftly, allowing us to take Hayden wherever he needs to go. The pushchair’s weight was also an important consideration, as we wanted all members of our family to be able take him out. That meant the pushchair in question needed to be sturdy yet nimble and not too cumbersome, without sacrificing quality – were we asking too much?! iCandy is the brand that we were instantly drawn to. The Peach is a much-trusted pair of wheels now on its sixth generation – and to us it felt practically perfect in every single way. But what really sealed the deal was the launch of the new Twill and Check editions.

GOOD LOOKING? This is one very sleek and good-looking travel system. We like that it has the classic pram shape, but with a contemporary feel. The wide range of colour combos available allowed us to select colourways that reflect our taste. We also love that you’re given the option to choose the frame colour, and were smitten with the blue check and phantom finish pairing. It’s refreshing to be able to go for something other than black or chrome, and the fabric is plush yet practical. We’ve had lots of compliments from friends and family.

nature to us – of course the first few attempts aren’t exactly e†ortless, but it’s a doddle once you’ve done it a couple of times. The day-today use is so simple, the wheels are smooth and it’s very easy to push and glide around using just one hand.

The bassinet attaches securely and clicks into place and the buttons for releasing the bassinet are easy to unlock. You can also raise the bassinet (or seat unit) with the supplied iCandy elevators. The handle length is easily adjustable to make it accessibel for di†erent heights too, plus the basket below is generous, fitting a good amount of shopping in.

COMFORT Hayden always snoozes so peacefully when he’s tucked up in the Peach, which must means he’s pretty comfortable in there. for him when we’re downstairs, and it’s certified for overnight sleeping. As for the ‘pushee’ benefits, the handlebar is nicely padded and soft either side of the button to raise the bar, and is a super-smooth ride.

VERDICT The Peach is a smart and practical solution for our and Hayden’s travel needs and he’s very happy when he’s in it. We thoroughly enjoy using it and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an easy to use and comfortable travel system.
