CHELSEA youngsters Jemmah (dressed as bride Maria) and Leisl (a bridesmaid) enjoyed dressing up to go to see the classic musical The Sound of Music at Parkdale’s Shirley Burke Theatre last week. Audience participation was encouraged at the Kingston Arts hosted film screening. Many cinemagoers dressed up as their favourite character from the film and sang along to My Favourite Things, Climb Ev’ry Mountain, Edelweiss and many more Sound of Music numbers.
