TECHNICAL REQUAIREMENT
Considering the current manufacturing technique and the material form the suppliers, the body of the product is 1.5mm thick, the lid is 2.5mm . the handle will be connected to the main part with spot welding technique.
The product should be made of compound steel, which is more healthy for cooking. It should be easy to clean the surface. The interner layer of the cookware is made of 304 steel, it is safty and non-stick. The Whole design assignment consist of 3 woks, 6 pots and 3 pans.

IDEATION
INSPIRATION
The design language of the product should be simply and clean.
SKETCH During this phase, basic design direction and the rough proportion was decided.
PROTOTYPE After last step, the choosed design has been 3d printed, the parts now can be tried in real proportion in the hand. Actually we have found out some problems before we haven't.
PROBLEM 1 The gap between the handle and the top of the lid is not big enough, this make it possible that during cooking the hand maybe will touch the hot lid. PROBLEM 2 Another problem is the handle of wok, it is too long, that it is not so convenient to use. and the handle is almost horizonal, it should be more inclined. PROBLEM 3 The width of the handle is also too wide. those problem should be modified.
WOK The expertly designed lid is built to withstand rusting, as well as utilising air-tight technology to securely seal in moisture. This combined with our inner circulatory system allows for cooking with minimal additional water.
POT The steel is drawn from the highest quality sources and is used in the construction of ships and medical apparatus. These specialist applications not only demonstrate its extraordinary resistance to rust but also its reliability. The best tools for the best hands.
FRYING PAN The body of our product is made from type 316 Stainless Steel. The refining process is markedly different from that of the standard stainless steel found in most kitchen products and involves the even distribution of heat. the product’s lid is made from type 304 Stainless Steel.

HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES DESIGN This course is at 5. semester, which called "FORMKURS", it means form course in english. the course is aimed at improving the skill of styling. the student should develop an own design language and with that language develop a set of houshold appliances.
THE PROCESS OF THE PROJECT In this project we started with looking at the household appliance market, and finding a brand which you want to design a product for it. After that we analysed the design language of the brand and design a specific product . in this case, our task was to design a water kettle.

TARGET BRAND EVA SOLO Eva Solo is a Danish company, which creates exclusive, Danish-designed furnishing accessories and kitchenware characterised by aesthetic appeal, functionality and high quality. Tools which are a pleasure to look at, use and own.
DESIGN SKETCH In this phase i translate the desgin language of long life design in some rough sketches to explor the design direction.
WATER KETTLE the basic form of this water kettle is a halfsphere, and the handle of the ketle is connected to the body with a rightangle, because i think this is a contrast between round and quadrangle. Metal surface could make the product keep a clean appearance longer, and extend the durability of the product.
DESIGN DETAILS The watler will be filled from the mouth of the kettle. the product stands on a base, after boiling the kettle will be automaticly shut down.

A BICYCLE LIGHT DESIGNED TO AVOIDE THE ACCIDENT The bicycle light contains a laser projector, it could project partterns on the ground to remind the pedestrian to pay more attention on the bicycle.
PROBLEMS
BIKE COMING
SCENARIO 1 the bike is coming from behind, the pedestrians are not aware of the bike, in this situation, it will be dangerous, because the bike rider might predict the behavior wrong.
SCENARIO 2 the bike is coming from an vertical alley, the driver could'nt know about the bike, before it came out.
INSPIRATION In IKEA or some shopping mall, there are some projections on the floor to gide the customers.
SOLUTION With the same idea, the bicycle can use a projector to project the sign on the ground, so that the pedestrain can notice the presence of the bycicle.

A PRODUCT REDESIGN FOR TECHNO LINE WS 9767 In this project i have redesigned a weatherstation of techno line, first i disassembled the real product techno line ws 9767 to analyze the internal structure, after i rebuilded the whole structure in 3d program, and analyzed the product in the term of usage. with the findings and the conclusion from the analysis, i developed a new product based on the current one.

REDESIGN Based on the analysis, the redesigned product has kept all the features and the usbility has been improved to a new level at the same time, it also kept the design language but with a new expression. Buttons are made of rubber, it is easy to press, and all of them are on the side. The button to set the time and alarm clock is designed as a rotary button, it is easier to use

The important infomation is not clear enough the date and the temperature are displayed with the same graphic comparing the size of the product, the screen is relative small

WEATHER STATION DESIGN ç ź This project i have developed a weather station named ç ź (tong), which means cement in english, because the material of this product is cement. in this project i want to develop a totally different product

MODELING To make the cement housing, first i made the negative molds with silicon gel. After that the cement will be filled in the mold. because the housing consist of 2 parts, and one of them has darker color, i add some black pigment in the second mold. after 3 days, the cement housing can be taken out of the mold.
DISCRIPTION The product has a cement housing, it can be opened in the middle to change the batteries. on the display shows the most important infomation about the weather situation. all the info constantly keep on the screen so that the user can very easily be informed. it can also detect the air situation in different rooms via the separate sensor, but those infomation will be showed by an App
COOPERATIVE STUDIO | RIEDEL

This is a coopperative studio with RIEDEL Communications GmbH & Co. K in 6.semester, the project aimed at to find a new solution of the user interaction for the communication panel. First comes the briefing, we have conducted a comprehensive market research and interviewed with user to gain insight from the first hand information. After having identified the the problem and issues, we have developed a series of concept to address them. Finally we presented our solution to the Riedel Communication.
DESIGN BRIEFING Riedel’s technology is partner of numerous international events including Formula 1 races, World Championships and the Olympic Games. Many broadcasting companies, theatres and industrial facilities use Riedel systems, for smaller applications and events. The company operates in three business fields: • Manufacturing: Riedel designs, manufactures and distributes real-time networks for video, audio, data and communications. The products are used worldwide for broadcast, pro-audio, event, sports, theatre, universities and security applications. • Rental service: Riedel provides radio and intercom services, event IT solutions as well as fibre-based and wireless audio & video transmission systems. Riedel offers support services including project planning, logistics, set up and operations for projects of any size. • Radio distribution: Riedel is one of the largest authorized Motorola business partners in Europe The goal of the project is to generate bunch valuable concepts, which could be implemented in the further products.
IN FIELD RESEARCH At the beginning of the project, we went to a TV show stadium to observe how they use the RIEDEL products during the telecasting. Meanwhile, we also had opportunity to interview the staff. Here are some ideas they provide us
