LINPAN Western Sichuan is famous for its graduated terrains and scattered dwelling condition. However, with rapid urban development, Linpan culture is undergoing decay. Yanxi Wetland is a new developed nature reserve in Chengdu Linpan. The site locates inside wetland. It used to be a discarded traditional house surrounded by dense forest. With the application of a new material, I-mesh, this house is intended to be refurbished as a multifunctional space. Events, party, exhibition and meeting appeals to tourists and invigorate Linpan.

The Mechanism of Pipe Organ The mechanism of pipe organ is quite complex. Blower pushes air into a reservoir. After traveling through wind trunk, air enters wind chest, which is a air-tight box. An array of pipes arranged in sets called rank is controlled by stop knob in console. When stop is pulled out, the holes in a wood slat called slider are in line with the pipes. Then this rank of pipes is engaged with the play. Organist depress a key, the pallet controlled by keyboard opens and allow air to enter key channel. Then air flows into the pipe. All the pipes on that channel whose stops have been opened make sound. A complete pipe organ comprises of hundreds sets, forming an interesting pipe forest with zigzag pathes and up & downs. The mystery of inside pipe organ is what tourists want to explore.
