Tigers swept Columbia College and West Hills College in volleyball Cherie Smith Sports Editor Reedley College hosted Porterville College and West Hills Coalinga. Also, they traveled to Colombia College and Merced College. The Tigers won against Columbia and West Hills at home and on the road. They split with Merced and were swept by Porterville. Reedley College’s Volleyball team is 6-6 in the Central Valley Conference and 8-11 on the season.

On October 24, Reedley hosted Porterville College. The Tigers lost 3-0 (25-15, 25-15, and 25-13). Katie Tomcak had eight kills and Jordan Ross had five kills. Kendall Jean had five points, Katie Tomcak had 8.5 points, Mikala Frueh had 3.5 points points, and Jordan Ross had five points.

Reedley College traveled to Columbia College on October 26. The Tigers won 3-2 (23-25, 2515, 25-22, 21-25, and 15-12). The Tigers hosted West Hills College Coalinga on Wednesday, October 31. Reedley was able to get a Halloween win over West Hills, 3-0 (25-9, 25-9, and 25-17). Tomcak had 16 kills, Frueh had four kills, and Ross had eight kills. Jean had five points, Emily Bakker had 4.5 points, Kayla Hogue had 2.5 points, and Tomcak had 20 points. Marci Baird had two points, Frueh had 6.5 points, Ashlyn Solano had two points, and Ross had 11 points. On Friday, November 2, Reedley traveled to Merced College. Merced won, 3-0 (25-18, 26-24, and 25-20). The next home contest is Friday, November 9 at 6:00 p.m. against Taft College. It is also sophomore night and the last contest of the season.
