Time is Art

I have known this beautiful, sensitive soul since he was a baby. He is the apple of my eye; always teaching me, inundating me with the meaning of life through his magnificent artist eyes. The ones I looked into when he was born and said, “he’s gonna be famous one day” You know how you can just see that in some souls. Well, I see it in all my children, to me they are all famous in my eyes.

Dillon, didn’t have it easy growing up. His father and I divorced when he was a baby. My family has always been my purpose for living but, as they say, you can plan all you want then Life happens. I always prayed back then and asked the angels for help and some how we got through it.

Dillon loved to draw as a child. He liked cartoons and superheroes. I gave Dillon some paint brushes and paints and said draw me a picture of James Dean. It was perfect! Yes, he had the family gift. He went to art school to hone his talents, then journeyed to Italy and became well-travelled in Europe and started his career in art.

His work is exquisite and exciting. When you see one of his pieces it can bring you back to your childhood and arise all kinds of feelings. His art is very diverse from Disney princesses all grown up called Dirtyland to Captain America and Mickey Mouse – all in his interesting pattern twists.

My favorite although is his special angel painting he made for me, and a version of Leonardo’s Jesus he recreated.
