Today, technology is important to the origination process. Our clients and business partners benefit greatly from our loan originators using ClientKeeperŽ. It’s the leading CRM system in the industry for effectively targeting and communicating with prospects, clients, and referral partners. It is also fully integrated with our corporately sponsored websites and with Operations. In addition, the loan originator and customer can receive automated loan status updates, keeping them updated throughout the entire loan process. Each originator has the flexility to order credit for borrowers through our origination software. We support the use of score analyzer software and rapid-rescore options. Each branch manager coaches and leads his or her originators and support staff. Realizing that each branch is different, we empower each branch manager to define the roles and responsibilities of their processors and originators. Our corporate office provides support by sharing best practices that have made our branches highly profitable and efficient.

Executive Summary

Cherry Creek Mortgage Company’s operations consist of both centralized and decentralized groups focused on serving our borrowers, corporate colleagues, and capital markets. Corporate centralized functions include: closing, post closing and auditing, quality control and assurance, compliance, finance and accounting, secondary marketing, information systems and technology, marketing solutions, human resources, and general corporate services. Underwriting is performed in both the corporate headquarters and regional offices.

Processing, Underwriting, and Closing

Processors work closely with the loan officers and borrowers to ensure that a loan is presented well for underwriting and to facilitate a smooth loan closing. CCMC offers a centralized processing platform to loan officers as an outsourced option for processing their loan applications. Loan closings are generally handled by our corporate office, and we issue closing documents electronically.

Post Closing and Quality Assurance

Loan delivery, whether to a government agency or private investor, is handled by the Post Closing Department. This group works closely with our Capital Markets team to deliver loans sold in pools, bulk, and individually. Our Quality Assurance Department works diligently to eliminate loan problems before they surface.

Finance, Accounting, and HR

This group includes the following activities: loan funding and warehouse line management; interim loan servicing; loan purchase and reconciliation; accounts payable; tax reporting; and preparation of all internal and external financial statements, including warehouse and compliance reporting. Accounting is done at both corporate and branch levels. Additionally, the human resource functions within this department include payroll administration, employee benefit administration, and new employee enrollment.

Appraisals

Our appraisal process is simple. Our managers have recommended quality appraisers familiar with the local markets and they have been reviewed and approved by the VP of Appraisals. Assignments are typically made in less than 24 hours.

Technology

We offer IT solutions that are designed with productivity in mind. Business productivity applications are managed centrally, which means that your IT support team can get you up and running and provide support without traveling to your location.
