What will you study?

The areas of study at GCSE are:  Number  Algebra  Ratio, proportion and rates of change  Geometry and measures  Statistics and probability As well as learning and applying standard techniques to solve problems within mathematics and other more real- life contexts, students will be encouraged to reason, interpret and communicate mathematically.

How will you be assessed?

Students will be entered for either the Foundation Tier or the Higher tier. Both are assessed by three 1½ hour papers sat at the end of Year 11, one of which will be a non-calculator paper.
