The Goodforit Barbershop was a famous barber shop. In this project, the visual design was able to contain barber culture and show their product 100% natural. The visual art would use in packages, posters and bottle labels. Following the purpose of the project, I started to reaserch the barber culture, such as hair and wearing style, then I used two keywords: barber and nature to develop mind maps and tried to find the connection between them.

I searched the materials of cake, baking tools, and methods. Finally, I used the image of melted cream to create the logo.

Urban Nomad was an annual independent film festival. The project was to design posters and guidebooks. The idea came from the connection between film and nomad. I considered that nomads fed their domestic animals by continued migration, it is likely the principle of films, built by many still pictures. At this idea, I decided to design a series of posters which were able to combine with others, just liked a puzzle, and also looked like a film.

By using the classic quote in the movie, I expected to show gentlemanly and also wild, just liked the movie.

The project was inspired by the documentary ‘Kurt Cobain:Montage Of Heck’. The film featured the inside of Kurt’s mind. It was produced by home video, Kurt’s manuscripts and relatives’ interview. According to the film, I analysed 4 defferent views from deffernt people, such as fans, media, relatives, and himself. I used this idea to design the album, and also I used the concept of montage on the visual to connect the title of the film. I expected to make people understand this wild and talented rock star.

The project had to use Chinese characters to create a series posters to present Chinese culture. At this point, I research Chinese font history. Chinese font was a slow and gradual process through hieroglyphics evolved which form describing intention delicately to simplify it into recording easily. Oracle bone script was one of a hieroglyphic and the set of incised ancient Chinese characters found on oracle bones, which were animal bones or turtle shells. The vast majority was that record the royal divination in Bronze Age China of Shang dynasty. The most famous was that Chinese characters were pictograms, stylised drawing of the objects they represent.

On the other hand, using what words to present Chinese culture was a significant issue. At last, I decided to use the Four Great Classical Novels of Chinese literatures. The Four Great Classical Novels of Chinese literatures were the four novels commonly regarded by Chinese literary criticism to be the greatest and most influential of Chinese fiction. Those stories had great impact on people’s thought, values and their way of dealing things. Meanwhile, this four works had a high level of literary and artistic achievements and had been widely adapted into stories, plays and movies. They were easy to narrative and had obviously defferent themes.

It was believed to be semi-autobiographical, mirroring the rise and decay of author's own family of the Qing Dynasty. But this book was best known as the relationship of love between Jia Baoyu and Lin Daiyu.

It was an adaptable novel based on historical; and describes the story of the three forces of the war between military and strategy from eastern Han dynasty to the western Jin dynasty.
