For singularity to multi-functionality Rajendra place “ The Library Park�
The present public transport network is inadequate to connect destination area inculding the connection between blue and red metro lines for various users, this increases heavy private motorized vaehicular trafiic on limited roads. There also exists local reilway line running at the periphery of the region which is hardly used thus facilitatesmcreation of slums and unauthorised colonies around.
Rajendra place district centre lies in central delhi area, to the west of connaught place. The region is found to have serious Dis-connection bwetween the arterial roads, Patel nagar, Pusa road, Rohtak road due to the lack of un-obtructive collector roads. The site is flanked by one of the few roads which thus creates heavy traffic around. The district centre lies amidst the residential area of patel nagar, Western extansion area with commercial setup o great importance in karol bagh.
TA S K #Providing alternate modes of transport solutions in correspondence to present network. #Converting office and institutional land use into commercial and mised land use. #Building library park and community complex.
ZONING GUIDLINES ZONE B RESIDENTIAL AREA #Building having primary function as residential can not have more than 3% commercial. #Oldage homes and orphanage each should be provided with 1.5% of the total built up area. ZONE D #no permanent or temporary built structure can be made in any stilted area.
ZONE A #Within a range of 50m around the lake, No permanent or temporary built structure can be made. #Permanent strctures built in green area can not have more than 20sq.m ground coverage and only the ground floor is built, leaving a passage of 5m width between two such consecutive strcutre. #These structure can house only commercial activities and occupy terrace for seaters and open air activities are( refer to grphic). #If 2 parties or a single person buys an area of 40sq.m then the structure so built should have a distance of 5m from the next nearest structure. #No temporary structure of the permanent built form should encroach the pedistrian path in any which way.
ZONE F #Designated medical zone provided can not be encroached by any other function expect for medical facility.
ZONE E COMMERCIAL AREA #Structure in this zone can`t provide residential function whithin it. #The ground floor of these structures should be put to commercial use only. #Within this zone 100m from the metro, A hotel of minium 500 room has to provided.
COMMON GUIDE LINES #PARKING Catering to residents of the site EC`s 1 is taken where in parking in basements and surface parking is not allowed to creat more pedestrian findly spcaes. #SUSTANABILITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL ASPECTS The roofs of buliding should have solar panels heaters along with adequate provision for either harvesting rain water or diverting it to lake. #LANDSCAPEING AND BUFFER SPACES On walking trees with dense foliage below eye level( 1.5m-2m) should not be used. Space between strcuture need to be a dequately landscape to creat usable open space accesible to pedestrain.

The basic key point of this group housing society is to give 374 units comprising with all sets of typology( 1BHK, 2BHK, 3BHK and EWS) and provide them a personal terrace garden. For giving personal terrace garden rooms were shifted around the cluster by this method double height terraces were automatically formed.
