CUSTOM DOMES Custom plain round domes can be spun to virtually any diameter. Large custom domes are shipped in sections which can be easily handled and installed. We offer a choice of four standard rim designs for custom domes. Design 1 is a spun rim using the profile shown at the right. Design 2 adds a laurel leaf inset. Both these options are shown above on the 3464(A) oval dome.

Design option 3 is no rim – the dome mounts flush with the ceiling. Design option 4 is the addition of a spun light trough as shown at right. The light trough profile itself can be customized to meet your requirements.

Cutting Ultralite Supercoat is handled exactly the same as any Fingerjoint Primed moulding. The best way to obtain consistent miter angles when cutting is to use a miter saw with a carbon tip blade. However, you can also obtain good results with a sharp saw and miter box.

Fastening PNEUMATIC AIR NAILERS

Tank pressure should run between 80-90 psi. The type of nail preferred is an 18 guage chisel point T-nail, 1”- 1-1/2” in length, depending on the profile thickness. Remember, as with any wood moulding, you should try to nail into the wood studs or jamb and also nail into the curved or cove part of the moulding to better hide the nail holes. Should you decide to hand nail, any good quality finishing nail, properly countersunk, will work well. GLUE MITERED CORNERS

As Ultralite Supercoat is more dimensionally stable than regular wood, it is not necessary to toe nail mitered corners. Instead, use a bead of white wood glue to hold the miter corner together. This, along with face nailing the casing, willl produce a superior joint that won’t pull apart.

Ordering Information CUSTOMER PICK-UP Material can be arranged to be picked up at Cheyenne (CC) between the working hours of 8:00 am and 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday. When placing your order with CC, note that it will be picked up. Please send appropriate paperwork with your driver or customer. DIRECT DELIVERIES CC offers the convenience of direct job site deliveries to our customers. A job site order will not be processed until complete directions to the job site are received. Undeliverable orders due to job site conditions or lack of help to unload truck will be returned to Cheyenne for customer pick-up. If customer desires goods to be redelivered, there will be a charge added to the invoice. Customer’s agent must be present on job site to receive goods. Our charge for a job site delivery varies with job location and/or size of order. Please use the following guidelines when placing a direct order. 1. Have available complete directions, address, phone number and contact’s name. 2. Make sure someone will be there to accept, help unload, sign for delivery and make payment if necessary. 3. Double check your order to avoid job site problems. 4. No claims will be honored once receipt of material is signed for. ACCOUNT POLICY Companies wishing to establish an open account must complete CC Credit Application. Until processing of the application is complete (approximately 2- 3 weeks), CC will ship material to the applicant on a prepaid or COD basis. All first orders are prepaid or COD. Payment must be made in cash, certified check or credit card. There is a finance charge of 2% per month on past due balances. Deliveries may be withheld from any customer with a past due account. CC reserves the right to close an account at its discretion. All customer terms are subject to the review of the Credit Manager. ORDER POLICY Orders will be accepted by telephone, fax, US Mail, courier or by a CC Sales Representative. CC requires written confirmation on all special order and custom material. SHIPPING POLICY Unless requested otherwise, CC will ship orders complete when all material has been received. CC shall be held harmless for damages and delays occuring due to circumstances beyond our control. CC reserves the right to choose the mode of delivery. No claims will be honored once receipt of material has been signed for. Claims of concealed damage must be made within 24 hours of receipt of goods. RETURN POLICY All stock material for return must be in “as shipped condition.” Authorization for pick-up is not a guarantee of credit. All returned goods are subject to warehouse inspection before credit will be issued. No material will be picked up without CC authorization. Custom order and shop material are not returnable. Customers must provide proof of purchase for all returned goods. All returns are subject to a 20% restocking charge plus shipping costs. No material will be accepted for return after 30 days. CANCELLATION Shop items and custom orders cannot be cancelled once manufacturing has begun. While we make every effort to honor cancellation requests, an order is considered firm when placed, and the customer is liable for the full cost of those orders.
