ITINERARY: Day 1: Arrive into Phnom Penh Arrive into Phnom Penh and privately transfer to your hotel. Balance of the day is free at leisure. Overnight at The Governors House / Landmark Room Day 2: Phnom Penh (B/L) After breakfast at the hotel, This morning you are taken on a Cambodian Genocide Tour to visit the harrowing S-21 Security Prison and the Choeung Ek Killing Fields Memorial. Phnom Penh became a ghost town during the brutal Khmer Rouge regime that terrorized the nation in the 1970s and lead to the deaths of over 2 million citizens. After lunch at Malis restaurant, continue to explore the glittering Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, admiring the over 5,000 silver tiles covering the floor and the collection of shiny golden Buddhas. Then take a short walk to visit the National Museum, home to the country’s most important collection of ancient Cambodian artefacts. Return to hotel and free at leisure. Overnight at The Governors House / Landmark Room Day 3: Phnom Penh - Kep (B) This morning journey is a mix of Cambodian architecture of the late 1950s and 1960s and authentic experience of local Cambodian street food and seasonal fruits. Begin with a visit to the spiritual Wat Phnom. From here set off a Cyclo rides to see some French colonial buildings (guests only can view from outside) include the Post Office, the National Library and the Railway Station. Continue on to the art deco Central Market “PhsarThmei”, Cambodia’s largest market and a Phnom Penh landmark. Built in 1937 by French architect Louis Chauchon, the four wings of this gigantic yellow dome are teeming with stalls that sell goods ranging from silver to seafood.

This morning you will enjoy Cambodian Cooking Experience (Seafood Menu) with a visit to an impressive crab market where live and fresh seafood being traded. Day 5: Kep (B) Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Free day at leisure. Overnight at Knai Bang Chatt / Sea View Room Day 6: Kep – Siem Reap via Phnom Penh (B) Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. You are transferred to Phnom Penh Airport for your 40-minute flight to Siem Reap. Arrival, transfer to your hotel for check in and refreshment before exploring the world's largest religious monument of Angkor Wat at sunset. Walk its shady cloisters among orange-robed monks and watch the setting sun paint the temple's lofty prangs (spires) and carved walls gold as dusk falls.
