Quotes from your fleet members “The J-111 Worlds Championship presented by the Chicago Yacht Club will be a "Must Do" event. The Club has demonstrated again and again that they "Get it Right", ashore and afloat. The friendly city is "Right There", and a lot of what visiting racers do is in walking distance from the Club. The Racing venue feels like an Ocean Bay, big water! CYC has been getting it right for a long time.” - Dave Irish

“We have travelled to the last three J-111 worlds championships from Australia The key factors for us are 1. Charter boat availability – a larger local fleet like Chicago has, increases the chances of getting a charter boat for overseas teams. 2. Iconic locations - Chicago is an ideal place for the regatta and a must do sailing location. Chicago is a significant enticement to us to attend. We look forward to coming to Chicago for another worlds in 2019” -Rod Warren

Please Award the 2019 J/111 World Championships to the Windy City’s own Chicago Yacht Club!
