I was born and raised up in Taiwan. Growing up, I have always been interested in all of the fields of art, from music, to dance, to fine art, to literature‌ I have been a musician, a dancer, an artist, and now a designer. In high school I studied graphic design and communication design, then studied product design in an university in Taiwan. Then, I decided to take a break after a year studying in university. After working in the creative industry for a year in graphic design, for persuing different view towards design and having deeper thought about design, I made the decision to totally change my environment and step out of my comfort zone. Then I came to the UK study furniture and product design in Nottingham Trent University.

Development Sketch
I began by choosing CD discs as a material. I thought about drilling a pattern on it so the light could shine through the holed to create a pattern. However, considering the technical aspect, I changed my minf into using discs as the legs of lamps or small tables.
After that, I tried to put few discs together to make it more stable, then developed into coffee/tea tables with lamp.
