球视野，国家利益”的宗旨到2014年“设计为人民”的主张， 是一脉相承的。国家的主体是人民，“为人民”是指为民生，是关乎国家利益的大问题，而所谓国家利益，就是关乎 国家战略、生态环境、城市发展观、民众幸福感的大问题。因此，红星奖关注的不仅仅是人民的吃穿住行，而是对国 家发展、生存需求有益的事，就是中国的和平崛起，就是中国对世界的贡献。而全球视野就是没有什么能挡住你的视 线，也没有什么是你思维的边界和障碍，就是要学习和借鉴国际社会一切优秀的东西，同时又无拘泥的创新进取。我 们今年提出的设计为人民，就是秉承“全球视野，国家利益”基础之上的更广意的提法，而“APEC设计”获得红星 奖特别奖就说明红星奖表彰的不仅是中国设计智慧的表达，也正是向全世界彰显民族文化自信和国家软实力。 ——中国设计红星奖委员会执行主席 陈冬亮
An era's mutability and immutability is now precisely reflected on China Red Star Design Award. From the
"Global Vision, National Interest" in 2013 to "Design for People" in 2014, Red Star has remained its principle. The main subject of a country is people, "for
people" therefore points to the people's livelihood, which is a significant problem concerning the nation's interest, meanwhile, the "National Interest" is concerning the national strategy, environment, city development and the happiness of people. Hence, Red Star does not only focus on the basic necessity of life, but also those affairs good for national development and existence needs, which means the peaceful rise of China and China's devotion to the world. “Global Vision” means nothing can block your view, and nothing can be the boundary or barrier of your mind. “National Interest” means things that are beneficial for the development for the nation and needs of survival. "Design for People" is a broader statement for "Global Vision, National Interest", the "APEC Design" wins the special award illustrates that Red Star not only honors the presentation of China design wisdom, but also features the ethnical cultural confidence and the national soft power. How to participate 2015 China Red Star Design Award 报送的产品应为2013年1月1日-2015年8月31日期间已经上市，或者已经进入量产的产品；
参评范围 在中国（含港澳台地区）注册的企业设计、生产， 或在中国市场（含港澳台地区）有批量销售的产品 均可报名； 产品包括：电子信息、家用电器、新能源和环保、 家居用品、服装服饰、玩具、工艺美术、产品包 装、医用器械、五金建材、工业仪器、装备制造、 建筑装饰、交通工具、航空航天、展览展示、公共 设施等；
同一件产品只能由一家单位或个人进行申报。 每一位参评者可以申报多件产品参评。 历届中国设计红星奖获奖产品不可重复参评。 注：同一件作品如同时申报红星奖和红星原创奖，则同时取消该作品参加两个奖项的资格。 The launch time of the product should be from January 1st, 2013 to August 31st, 2015 or should the product be mass production.
