Only matters raised or resolutions proposed by Voting Members not less than 21 days and queries submitted within the 4 clear days deadline will be addressed at the Meeting. 3. A member who had submitted a proposed resolution or submitted a query will be granted 3 minutes to speak on each subject while other speakers will be given 1 minute and a buzzer will be sounded to signal the speaker when the time is up. 4. Members are requested to seek permission before they speak and not to interrupt others who have the floor. 5. Members are to give their names and account numbers clearly before speaking. This is for official record purposes. 6. Members are advised not to interrupt the speaker during their presentation as time will be allowed for the floor to speak. 7. Voting shall be by a show of hands unless a ballot is demanded by the majority of the Voting Members present and voting. Voting cards will be issued to facilitate tallying of votes by the auditors. 8. If any member disobeys the above Standing Orders and behaves in a disorderly manner, the Chairman has the authority to request the member to leave the Meeting, and if such member refuses to comply with the ruling of the Chairman, he or she will be ruled out of the Meeting.

PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
Dear Members The forthcoming 102nd Annual General Meeting will be held on Sunday, 30 April 2017 at the Recreation Complex, Grand Ballroom at Level 2. I look forward to members’ participation at the general meeting as we share an overview of the Club’s direction for the months to come. The Club expanded its social media platform with the launch of its official Facebook page in February, with the objectives to enhance the communication channel and provide better engagement with members through instant feeds of Club updates and happenings. Do spare some time to visit the page. As announced by the government recently that water tariffs will be going up and water conservation being a pressing national concern, the Club will need to exercise extra prudence in its day-to-day water consumption to keep water expenditure to a low. In addition, I would also urge members to be mindful in water usage and avoid water wastage as we continue to upkeep the Club’s Go Green efforts. For more Club news and announcements, please refer to the bulletin for more information. Starting this March, the Sports and Lifestyle department has lined up a myriad of exciting activities for members of all ages, ranging from exquisite culinary demonstrations to exciting dance moves and Pilates. For the wine aficionados and foodies, do not miss the upcoming wine dinner and hear about some of the finest wines and varietals from France from Sommelier of the evening, Ms Marine Agnes Labopin. Last but not least, on behalf of the Management Committee and administrative staff, I would like to wish all members a happy and blessed Easter holiday.
Shalom and God Bless
Edwin Lee President 3
