PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
Dear Members The 102nd Annual General Meeting was held on 30 April 2017 at the Grand Ballroom. I would like to thank all members for attending the AGM. I am also pleased to welcome a new member to the Management Committee Mr Ong Eng Keong and my fellow colleagues in the new term of office. From the inputs of members at the AGM, there is much work for the Management Committee to accomplish this year. I am also excited to announce that the 2nd CSC Super Junior Swimming Invitational 2017 will be held on 5 and 6 August. As the Club is anticipating approximately 800 participants and supporters in the Meet, we seek members’ forbearance and understanding that car parking facilities will be stretched during the 2-day meet due to the number of participants expected, there will be temporary closure of the Sports Complex facilities from 7.00am to 6.00pm on both dates. For more information, please turn to the ensuing page for more information and other club announcements. At the Singapore National Age Group Swimming Championships, the months of grueling training for budding CSC swimmers paid off with many swimmers achieving their personal best times. My heartiest congratulations go to CSC swimmers Reagan Cheng on being crowned the Most Valuable Swimmer (Boys) and Gan Ching Hwee as the Most Valuable Swimmer (13-14 Years Old) respectively. Ching Hwee and Benedict Boon also outdid themselves and made the Club proud by meeting the 2017 Sea Games “A” qualifying mark. The Club management also initiated exciting co-branding activities and partnership with independent retailers in a series of lifestyle bazaars to value add to members’ experience when they visit the Club. Members can expect more exciting happenings starting with the Mother’s Day Pop-up bazaar which will take place on 12 and 13 May. On behalf of the Management Committee and team of administrative staff, we wish all Mums a blessed Mother’s Day and all members an enjoyable Vesak holiday.
Shalom and God Bless Edwin Lee President 3

We had the honour to have Geoff Huegill, former world record holder and Olympian for Men’s 50m Butterfly (short course) joined us at the event.
