The Chippy Chat/Isle of Ely Produce open day held at the farm recently has been heralded as one of the best yet. Held in one of the companies giant state of the art potato storage sheds the day helped to tackle many of the issues effecting fish and chip shops right now. With over 50 ideas from speakers from shops from across the UK many shop owners left the day reinvigorated. Plans for our 2023 event are already well underway. Visitors got to try the latest range of Pukka Pies, taste Babylon chips (Agrico variety) and also Norwegian cod from Ramoen supplied by Smales.

The potato crop for 2022/23 looks like a very challenging one. Isle of Ely Produce can source the best available via our buyer group of farmers and merchants, so please ask your local supplier for stock delivered via Isle of Ely.

Set to be held on September 10th 2023 we are already looking for speakers and sponsors to make the event even better. If you are a supplier and would like to sponsor and attend the event please email austen@chippychat.co.uk.
