Rammi’s state-of-the-art trawler, The Sólberg, specialises in catching healthy, fresh fish that are then frozen at sea within 2 hours. This process locks in all the flavour and goodness ensuring natural, boneless, skinless cod fillets, that are prepared ready to defrost, batter, fry and serve, and taste like they were caught only moments before.

Protecting the Future

This Icelandic fishing company is dedicated to looking after future generations of fish, and that’s why the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) has accredited Rammi. This assures The QP, and its customers, that the fish Rammi is providing has been sustainably caught. And it guarantees the future of fish, meaning everyone can continue to enjoy the great taste of the sea for generations to come.

Locking in Freshness

Rammi oCeanPremium cod is frozen at sea within two hours of being caught. This means the freshness and flavour of the fish is immediately sealed in. Freezing fish at sea also stops any deterioration through ‘drip loss’. This is all done aboard Rammi’s trawler, The Sólberg.
