Taylor & Tyler
Having met at the football-frenzied University of Alabama, Taylor and Tyler agreed early on that getting married during football season was out of the question. Like so many other couples, they had to shift their wedding plans due to the global pandemic. When they rescheduled their April wedding, it felt like a twist of fate that they ended up picking a new date in October to hold the fall wedding they truly wanted.
One element important to Taylor was finding a gown with a long, dramatic train that would be carried down the aisle by their two page boys. She found a gown and cathedral length veil that were the perfect fit! Along with Taylor’s stunning attire, she carried a beautiful bouquet carefully bound with fabric from her mother’s wedding gown.
Taylor and Tyler chose the classic Southern venue, The Wimbish House, to celebrate with their guests. The timeless décor was accentuated with hues of blues, pinks and gold. The couple also infused their own personalities into the day by adding a custom neon installation to their décor and commissioned an artist to live-paint their reception. Both pieces are now proudly displayed in their home.
Before the night was over, the two shared one last dance, privately. It was a beautiful way to soak up the last few minutes of the day and a moment they will never forget.
“All the twists, turns and tears were overwhelmingly more than worth it,” Taylor says. “The day was perfect!”
