The first music names for Chiswick have been announced as the super awesome Craig David TS5 will get the party started with a mix of old skool anthems (Friday evening) and the queen of the kitchen disco Sophie Ellis-Bextor (Saturday evening).
Tom Kerridge will once again be bringing together his band of incredible chef pals - expect to see some of the hottest new talent in the food world, your TV favourites and some highly acclaimed Michelin-starred names. At each location, there’ll be awardwinning pubs and restaurants serving tasting dishes showing their signature style – from local favourites to revered eateries from farther afield – giving you the chance to savour food you might not otherwise get to sink your teeth into. Every event will feature plenty of festival fun - with chef demonstrations, the finest produce, top quality shopping and a kid’s area to keep the little ones entertained.
Tom Kerridge said “What a Summer that was! I had such a blast in 2021 - it was amazing to see everyone together again! I’ve had a sneak peek at the rest of the line-up for 2022 and it looks banging. We’re so excited to be bringing tasty food, incredible chefs and lush music to the towns we love, with some surprises thrown in as well… watch this space!”
Chris Hughes, CEO at Brand Events, said: “After such an incredible summer, we just can’t wait to do it all over again. So, I’m thrilled to be announcing eight confirmed stops of our 2022 tour and just some of our amazing headline music acts. Our towns can expect the biggest names in food and music to take centre stage in their local parks. This will be next year’s biggest food and music festival so go grab your friends and family and I promise you you’re going to love it.”

Farah Qureshi
by Áine McGinty Local jewellery designer holds first solo exhibition at Watermans
Hounslow-based jewellery designer Farah Qureshi is currently hosting her first solo exhibition at Brentford’s Watermans Arts Centre.
Farah has always had an interest in art, completing a degree in three dimensional design and metalwork at art school before focusing on jewellery design. She has been making jewellery for many years, focusing on her practice on a full time basis over the last two years.
A multi-award winning designer, Farah is best known for creating collections of jewellery using recycled materials and Fairtrade gold. ‘‘Ethics and sustainability are at the heart of my business,’’ she says and this has been recognised locally with Farah winning the Green Business Award at the Hounslow Business Awards in both 2016 and 2017.
Farah has exhibited her work both nationally and internationally at retail and trade events and now local people have an exciting opportunity to view her latest work in the borough.
Throughout the pandemic Farah has been selling her designs locally, making jewellery to commission and working on collaborative projects.
But that’s not all, she has also been working on a new imaginative project looking at the different ways cutlery can be used. Afterall, cutlery has been used for thousands of years and the format has not changed since it was introduced.
Titled Implements, the exhibition in Brentford, supported by Arts Council England, will showcase Farah’s new range of conceptual cutlery pieces. A departure from her usual jewellery collections, the exhibition is a chance to see the fun and imaginative pieces Farah has been working on. Influenced by jewellery, there will be knives masquerading as bangles, wearable forks and scent pins aimed at enhancing the experience of eating, and much more. Farah says, “This has been a wonderful project and has given me the opportunities to explore a different area of work and experiment with different ideas.”
The pieces will be shown at Farah’s first solo cutlery exhibition up until the 31st December 2021. The exhibition is free to attend.
Those interested in Farah’s beautiful jewellery can either head to her website or make an appointment to visit her London studio.
