Ancient method of treatment far ď‚— better than modern methods
 Yoga and naturopathy are the world’s oldest methods of
treating diseases. They are the gifts of the Indian saints to the people of the world. Ayurveda is an ideal and totally scientific method of treatment has also been given by our saints. Modern method of treatment is hardly 200 to 250 years old. Ayurveda was born in the Vedic era. Charak, Dhanwantari and Sushrut were pioneers of Ayurveda in ancient time. They were aware of all the methods of detecting diseases and their cures. Today it is believed that reasons of a disease are mainly Genetic, Bacterial, viral, Environmental and Life style. Diseases are also caused due to Drug addiction and side effect of medicines.
ď‚— Modern medical science is working to attain the
following seven goals viz., Primary prevention, Secondary prevention, Control, Cure, Acute management, Rehabilitation and Palliation. When we compare the modern method of treatment with Ayurveda and naturopathy, we arrive at a conclusion that ancient methods of treatment (Ayurveda and naturopathy) are far better than the modern methods.
For Primary prevention, to
protect people from disease, Allopathy has invented some vaccines. This can be successful only upto one to two percent like in diseases Polio, Hepatitis, etc. But Ayurvedic methods are actually inseparable methods of treatment. “The person who practices yoga and takes Amla, Giloy, Tulsi etc in sufficient quantities and leads a natural life, has upto 99 percent chances of leading a disease free life. As far as genetic diseases are concerned, we have fully cured people who are caught by them. We can say that primarily any method that can be called effective in curing diseases is Ayurveda.” - Acharya Balkrishna
ď‚— Ayurveda is the only effective option for us to keep
healthy. One who practices yoga regularly, can keep always healthy. By practicing yoga one can get even victory over death, said our ancestors. Yoga, Ayurveda revitalize our cells, chromosomes and structure of DNA.
ď‚— If a person is caught by myocardial infection, hit by paralysis,
Asthma, etc, he should be given such medicines which could prevent the chances of the recurrence of the disease. Ayurveda is effective in secondary prevention too. Take the example of heart attack. There are seven main causes of heart attack- High blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, excess of weight, tobacco addiction, lacking physical labour, genetic reasons. To cure these diseases, one can take allopath medicines, but taking to Ayurvedic methods of treatment, a person can get rid of chances of the recurrence of the disease upto 99 percent. Ayurveda can cure many diseases like dengue, hepatitis, colitis, pancreatitis, bronchitis, arthritis, migraine and cancer in a better way than Allopathic method.
