Project One:
Industrial Heritage An ongoing project inspired by the North East of England’s shipbuilding, locomotive and mining heritage. Carrying out research at the Discovery Museum, George Stephenson Railway and Woodhorn. The project will lead to designing a garment and concept book as a product of research and development.
Project Two:
Trend Package Fashion trend research project based on creating a prediction package for SS16. Different forms of media were used to create hand rendered colour chips and fabrication, as well as the use of software packages Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

Project Three:
Magazine Publication Creating a magazine publication using the software package InDesign. Presentation, photography and journalism skills were essential during this project. The publication produced is based around the theme of working men and the Grainger Market, Newcastle.
Project Four:
Design Realisation & Promotion Design based insects, using visiting The developed and
project inspired by the research of animals, birds, reptiles and drawing and observational skills. Carrying out primary research Great North Museum and Bowes Museum. Research was then refined in order to create a twelve piece spring/summer collection.
DEVELOPMENT
Project Five:
Garment Construction A research and development project using artist exploration to construct an inspired garment. Refining designs in order to choose a final outcome. Both pattern cutting and sewing skills were essential for the project. Shirt inspired by the work of Giacometti through embroidery detailing.
