HELLO, I'm Jamie Wong, a Taiwanese girl who graduated from National Cheng Kung University in Sep 2018 with a degree in Industrial Design. Over the past year, my work as a graphic designer in Power Point Creative design company exposed me to a wide range of clients. This experience has also strengthened my skills in using design software that allowed me to develop numerous marketing materials like logos, brochures, newsletters, infographic etc. I am a self-motivated learner who is learning about UI & UX design. I hope that I will have more opportunities to work and research on the convenience that design could bring to humanity.

InfinCare is a domestic jobs finder app, which is a platform for the woman who is having more available time as their childrens are growing up. InfinCare helps them to earn some money by helping the mother who are too busy with their their houseworks to go back working. They can easily find an experienced helper from this app. It is a mutual relationship, a true reciprocity that InfinCare are now achieving.

About the project The reason that I started this project is beacuse of my mother, I noticed after my sibilings and I have grown up and become independent, my mother is having more spare time that she wanted to work and earn some money. However, due to the long period of leaving the workplace, she felt afraid to start working once again. Therefore, I was inspired to do this research and found out there are groups of women who have the same situation with her and decided to find a solution.

Background Research According to the “Research Brief� in Opportunities and challenges facing maternal workforce in Hong Kong by the Research Office from Legislative Council Secretariat, although the proportion of women in the working population has increased significantly in the past 20 years, Last year, about 458,000 women of strong age did not go the work. 80% of them are because of the need to take care of household chores and take care of their children.

Economically Inactive About 458,000 women of strong age are still economically inactive. 80% of them are because of the need to take care of household chores and their children.

Insight
Spare time increased? Lost balance? Meanwhile, the mothers who have child/childrens aged 0-14, admit that they are too busy to do everything they want but to take care of household chores and their children. Is it possible that these two groups of mothers could help each sides to accomplish their goals? After analysing the affinity diagram, I found that for those mothers whose child/ childrens aged 15 or above, they begin to have more spare time to focus on their own while most of them would like to re-enter the workplace. However, these mothers have fears to work again beacuase of the long period of being a full time mother.

According to the above research, the imbalance of full-time mother life lowered their self-esteem thus to cause the fears to go back to work after the long “break�. At the same, group B mothers usually feel a bit lonely as their childrens have their new lifes and do not have too much time to accompany with them.
Ideation To alleivate the burden of group A mothers, I believe group B mothers could use their available time to help them handling the heavy loads of houseworks. As a result, group A mothers could gain more time to focus on their own life thus to boost their self-esteem, while group B mothers can use their experience to earn some money by helping others.

Kilo Calo Chicken Breast & Blade Steak May 2020/ Kilo Calo is a brand-new food company in Hong Kong, which promotes healthy lifestyles among this city. The meats they manufactured are high in protein and without preservatives. I designed the packages for their chicken breast with 4 different flavours and also one original taste for the blade steak. To lower the printing costs, the client required me to use not more than 3 colours within the design. Therefore, I chose white background for the chicken breasts, while using black for the blade steak, so that it could keep a minimalist style which is sharp to stand out of the row in the stores.

Joyway Simmered Duck June 2019/ Today's modern society, speed is a famous term in our daily life. Everything we do, we do it quickly while eating is not excluded too. Joyway grasped this phenomenon, they released this simmered duck which is being gently cooked under 80°C, is ready-to-eat. In the background, I used the abstract contour lines to present the gentle heat. Besides, the vertical layout implied the traditional cooking method from western countries. Meanwhile, the navy blue background creates a calm atmosphere as the scene of simmering.

JaJube Fruit Beer - 3 Flavours March 2020/ Jajube is a non-published concept design, which targets the female in the age range of 18-40 years old. I believe that with this light orange colour and also the healthy fruit images, these beers are able to catch their eyes, thus to buy one to try. The name Ja-Ju-be is the short-form of a jar of juice and beer. Green leaf in the logo is a symbol of fruit, while the 3 bubble-shaped circles could be the reflection of the fruit and also the bubbles inside the beer.

The Eagles Faculty of business May 2019/ Navy blue illustrated a feeling of calm and wisdom while exuding the interlacing of professionalism and authority. The logo is composed of simple lines and blocks, which are consistent with the style of their school's logo. The winged eagle on the left symbolizes the students from the faculty of business in Chu Hai, and the lower block represents the commercial centre of Hong Kong. The stripes of the commercial building and the straight line on the right can form an economic histogram. The meaning behind the logo is the students here who have a pair of sharp eyes like the eagle, are able to see the opportunities in the Hong Kong financial market, and they will stand out from their colleagues with the courage and wisdom. It is an honour for me to own the champion in this competition.

A' Excellence Beauty Clinic March 2020/ A' Excellence is a cosmetic and spa clinic, which is located at Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam and is operated by a Taiwanese doctor. Looking at the logo, we can tell it is a side view of a polished girl with her flowing hair. Meanwhile, the way her hair flow presents the first letter of the name, A', which implied the best quality and service they are going to provide. The green leaf is like a blessing. She is closing her eyes and waiting for the leaf to unlock her inner beauty.

Ship-Shape Book Design June 2020/ Ship-Shape is a book collected the photos taken from a hotel in Vietnam, Pullman. Line is the theme for the entire interior design. All of the furniture and decorations are combined with the stripped constructions, including the nestshaped chair from the relaxing area, the symmetric lifts and even when you look up to the sky, you can see all of the grids on the windows. This book discussed the features of the designs in detail. To emphasis on the lines, black and white are used for all photos. People who are hooked on the line pattern should take this book home.

OPM leather album Aug 2017/ OPM is an album which collected all of the leather that they invented for shoes in 2019. On the cover, the strokes on the left illustrated the muscle of legs while the random lines pointing towards the right corner are the nerves. People wore the shoes San Fang designed, they could exert their muscle's energy to the maximum level. For the inner page, a running athlete is stepping on the muds on the ground, which are splashing like the liquid at the back.

The Beat light box posters Apr 2019/ The Beat is a dance and fitness studio in Hong Kong, they have introduced a new set of lessons for their students to learn. The client required the theme has to match with their colourful logo. Also, usually, female outnumber male in their member club so I used separated the gradient colours from their logo, and apply them into the abstract circles and lines as the pattern to highlight the human in the posters. The patterns are running with the flow of the exercise they do.
