Conner Prairie

Over in nearby Carmel, a bustling Arts & Design District greets visitors with upscale galleries, studios, and public sculptures. And only a few streets over, The Center for the Performing Arts attracts some of the biggest names in entertainment to its world-class stage. Just a short drive away in Fishers, Conner Prairie Interactive History Park shows guests what 19th century life was like in Indiana. Its five themed outdoor history areas include reenactors, a tethered helium balloon ride and its Animal Encounters barn.

JUNE 7-21 Gardens & All Things Green – Tour gardens, take classes and enjoy demonstrations during our two-week celebration of the joy of gardening. JUNE 14-15 Curiosity Fair – Play, investigate and explore the whos, hows and whys of science, technology, engineering and math during this interactive celebration of the inquisitive spirit at Conner Prairie. JULY 19, 5-10 P.M. Art of Wine – Enjoy an evening experiencing vintages al fresco at this event in the Carmel Arts & Design District. AUGUST 23, NOON-6 P.M. Artomobilia – The art of the automobile is on display in Carmel’s Arts & Design District. Cars from all eras line the streets and galleries exhibit art with an auto theme.
