What I love most about architecture is the ability to bring people’s idea to life and design a place where people live, make memories with their loved ones. My job is not just to design what people dream of, but I make sure that safety and beauty follow the design.

FILM STUDIO

SUDBURY, ONTARIO

The overal Film Studio building maintains harmony with the surrounding forest environment by featuring the Green roof and an exterior wall finish reminiscent of the colors of the tree trunk.

The building involves the collaboration of two entities which are the Northern Ontario Film Studio and College Boreal. The collaboration is so wonderful because the two complement each other.

The Northern Ontario Film Studio will benefit from the abilities of the students and College Boreal especially students will benefit from pratical training such as beautician students who will have the opportunity to take care of the actors and speakers of an event.

The building is divided into two parts: The Studio which is an open space and offices which has two levels.

I call this “Minimo”. Minimo is a graphically minimalist view that reveals the true essence of each elevation. “Less is more.”

CANADIAN RESTAURANT

ELLIOT LAKE, ONTARIO

The canadian restaurant is a mix of romantic, family and relaxed, a 3 in 1. There is nothing better than going there with the person or people you like, having conversations by tasting the chef’s speciality.

The restaurant adds the icing on the cake with a beautiful view of the lake and quick accessibility from the beach and the lake port. The restaurant has a capacity of 300 seats, a bar and a musicians stand; what’s nice than a good meal, a beautiful view of the lake with a good sunset and to top it off with a beautiful melody from the musicians, something to dream about.

“Architecture is really about well-being. I think that people want to feel good in a space... On the one hand it’s about shelter, but it’s also about pleasure.” -Zaha Hadid
