rumpf took to Twitter early in the morning to rant against US District Judge James Robart’s decision to stay the Muslim Ban. He referred to him as a “so-called judge” and exaggerated what the halt would do. Judges in the past who ruled against presidents were not personally criticized for their decisions.
D
he Drumpf Administration submitted an emergency request that would reinstate the Muslim Ban saying that the President had “unreviewable authority” to institute the ban.
T
he House Committe on Science, Space, and Technology posted a Daily Mail (actual fake news) article stating that global warming data was exaggerated in order to influence the Paris Agreement on climate change.
T
OP Representative Jack Kingston spoke at a meeting of the Jackson County Republican Party and suggested that low-income children should pay for their meals, or if they absolutely couldn’t afford to eat, do manual labor to pay for their meals.

ews came out that Drumpf was not fully briefed on the Executive Order that added white supremacist and Chief Strategist, Steve Bannon, to the National Security Council. While the Drumpf Administration denied that there was any problem with rolling out the Muslim Ban in public, Reince Priebus has had to create a 10-point checklist for the release of any new initiatives so that both clusters don’t happen again.

rumpf tweeted early that any negative polls about him is “fake news” and that he believed the people do want “extreme vetting.” In other words, he believed that anything he doesn’t like or that depicts him or his policies poorly is not real and should not be considered.
D
ebastial Gorka, a former Breitbart editor and current deputy assistant to President Drumpf, announced that the administration would keep saying “fake news” until the media stopped “attacking” Drumpf.
S
rumpf in his first speech to US troops at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, named 9/11, Boston, Orlando, San Bernardino, and Europe to justify the Muslim Ban. None of the instigators of those terrorist attacks were from the countries banned. He then blamed the “very dishonest press” for not reporting the terrorist attacks. In truth, 181 journalists died while reporting in dangerous areas either from war or from terrorism - since 2014.
D
he First Lady, Melania Trump, filed suit against the Daily Mail, which revealed that she had intended to use her position as a “once-in-a-lifetime” money making opportunity to endorse brands while she was “one of the most photographed women in the world” to acquire millions of dollars.

n a controversial vote, Betsy DeVos, a woman who couldn’t answer a single question presented to her during her hearing and who didn’t immediately promise to uphold current federal laws protecting students from sexual assault and ensuring that students with disabilities were provided a public education, was approved for Secretary of Education. Only two Republicans crossed party lines to vote “no,” both women. The deciding vote went to VP Pence.

n a White House listening session with law enforcement, Rockwall County Sheriff brought up a Senator who introduced a bill requiring that a suspect get convicted of a crime before their assets can be seized - which had bipartisan support in that state. Drumpf muttered “Unbelievable” before asking, “Who is the state senator? Do you want to give his name? We’ll destroy his career.” Those in attendance laughed.
I
lso during the White House listening session with law enforcement, Drumpf spouted some #altfacts, claiming the US murder rate is the highest it’s been in 45-47 years. In truth, the murder rate is at the lowest in 50 years.
A
e also mentioned the DAPL and Keystone Pipeline, stating that he didn’t think it was controversial and he hadn’t gotten a single call opposing it. He forgot to mention that the White House phones had not been on. He also claimed that Keystone would create 32,000 jobs, which is an #altfact. Keystone is projected to create 50 jobs. He then went on to say that it “wasn’t fair to our companies” that people were protesting. The DAPL CEO has donated more than $100k to Drumpf.

he White House claimed that the mainstream media were colluding to play down the number of and effects of terrorism. It released a list of 78 terrorist attacks that it said were underreported. On top of being rife with spelling errors, Politifact deemed the statement and the list “Pants on Fire.” All of the listed attacks had been covered and quite extensively. However, the list was entirely devoid of any attacks targeting Muslims or those carried out by non-Muslims.
T
hen asked about the likelihood of Drumpf accepting an adverse ruling from the court on the Muslim Ban, Press Secretary Spicer first claimed that there would be no reason to receive an adverse ruling - the President has the authority for the ban. When pressed for an answer, Spicer replied, “Let’s not get into that right now... let’s see what happens.”
W
hen asked to expound on Drumpf’s statement that we need to be “testing who truly loves America” and if that meant a specific new test would be administered, Spicer stated that Drumpf was making sure no one is coming here to do the country harm and people will be properly vetted. The reporter responded, “So...it’s a background check?” Spicer: “No, it’s extreme vetting.”
W
enator Elizabeth Warren attempted to speak against the confirmation of Senator Jeff Sessions as Attorney General by reading a letter written by Coretta Scott King decades ago. The GOP members of the Senate voted to silence her for the duration of Jeff Session’s confirmation hearing.
S
rumpf tweeted about the delay in approving his Cabinet, calling it a “disgrace” and blaming the obstructon of the Democrats in the Senate. He claimed it was the “longest such delay in the history of our country” which is another #altfact. Clinton didn’t have a full Cabinet until March 11, George HW until March 17, and Obama until April 28.
D
n an appearance on CNN, GOP Congressman Sean Duffy claimed that there was a difference between white supremacists who do terrorist attacks (and he seemed to believe it was a rare occurence) and Muslim extremists who do terrorist attacks. He also made mention of the “good” that comes out of white supremacist terrorist attacks - specifically that the Confederate flag was taken down.
O
n a vote along party lines, House Administration Committee Republications voted to eliminate the Election Assistance Commission, which is the only federal agency charged with making sure voting machines can’t be hacked. The agency was created after the shitshow that was the 2000 election in Florida.

hite House Press Secretary Spicer claimed that the blunder in Yemen was a huge success that would save American lives in the future. He also claimed that anyone challenging its success was doing a “disservice” to the life of Chief Owen, an American soldier who lost his life during the raid. “Full stop.”
W
uring the press briefing, Press Secretary Spicer said he believed that Coretta Scott King would have changed her stance on Senator Jeff Sessions, claiming that he was actually an advocate for civil rights. The ACLU gave him a 20% score on civil rights issues; Human Rights Campaign gave him a score of 0% on gay rights; and the NAACP gave him a score of 7% on affirmative action.
D
he Senate voted to confirm Senator Jeff Sessions as Attorney General despite his atrocious record on civil rights. The vote was very nearly along party lines with one Democrat, Senator Manchin voting yes. Senator Sessions was the first senator to endorse Drumpf, so his nomination surprised exactly no one.
T
rumpf took to Twitter to attack Nordstrom’s Department Store, which removed his daughter Ivanka’s line from its shelves due to low sales. The tweet was sent 21 minutes after the start of his daily intelligence briefing. He then retweeted it from the official @Potus account. Press Secretary Spicer decided it was entirely appropriate because Drumpf interpreted the decision to be a personal attack, despite the fact that Ivanka was informed by Nordstrom a month ago.
D
rumpf announced he was working on an Executive Order that would bring Al Quaeda, the Taliban, and ISIL detainees (or as he referred to them “bad dudes,” to Guantánamo Bay despite the Obama order that the prison be closed down and the advisors who said that it would be unnecessarily dangerous for soldiers to bring them there.
D
t was revealed that Press Secretary Spicer also invented a fake terrorist attack in order to justify the Muslim Ban. He mentioned, three separate times, that there was a terrorist attack in Atlanta. The last terrorist attack in Atlanta was in 1997, done by a radical right-wing terrorist who bombed a lesbian nightclub.
I
Moroccan-born Canadian citizen coming into the country to shop was turned away by border agents who took her phone and fingerprints. They asked about her Muslim religion and how she felt about Drumpf. They had her unlock her phone and perused it. She was found “inadmissible” due to Muslim prayer videos sent via email from friends who through it would help her deal emotionally with her son’s cancer.

ellyanne Conway, counselor to Drumpf, gave a “free commercial” - her words, not mine - to Ivanka Trump’s line, which is a clear violation of federal ethics law. The law states that an “employee shall not use his public office for his own private gain...or the private gain of friends...” So many people reported the incident that the Office of Government Ethics website crashed.
K
he federal appeals court unanimously decided to refuse to reinstate Drumpf’s Muslim Ban. The decision they were tasked with making was focused on whether the blan should be blocked while the courts consider its lawfulness, but they took the opportunity to speak on the merits of the Ban, writing a scathing takedown of Drumpf’s arguments. Drumpf in return tweeted in all caps: “SEE YOU IN COURT, THE SECURITY OF OUR NATION IS AT STAKE!”
T
n a total cluster, Breitbart attempted to interview Press Secretary Spicer about the court’s decision. The live video started with about 23 seconds of dead air while neither the “reporter” or Spicer looked at each other. The Breitbart “reporter” had no idea what he was talking about and mentioned that it was regaring a ban on 6 high risk countries.

uadalupe Garcia de Rayos was deported after her eighth meeting with immigration officials. She illegally immigrated with her family when she was 14, and had met with immigration officials on a semi-regular basis. The deportation order was not carried out until Drumpf broadened the definition of “criminal alien.” Her deportation separates her from her husband and two teenage children who were born in the US.
G
ational Security Advisor Michael Flynn backed off his original claim that he had not discussed sanctions (implemented due to the Russian meddling in the US election) with a Russian ambassador a month before Drumpf took office. He reportedly told the ambassador not to worry about the sanctions and that he and Russia would be rewarded once Drumpf took office. On Wednesday, he claimed that he never spoke to the ambassador about the sanctions. Today, he claimed he may have discussed sanctions, he had no recollection of what they spoke about.

he Dumpf Administration delayed the federal Endangered Species Act protection that was supposed to begin for the rusty patch bumblebee for at least one month. A Drumpf memorandum placed a temporary freeze on any regulations taht have been published but haven’t taken effect yet, including those for endangered species, who go through years of vetting before being listed.
T
rumpf signed more Executive Orders to give police more powers, to define new federal crimes, and to increase the penalties for existing federal crimes. He cited the increased number of violent police deaths on the job (64 in 2016). What he didn’t mention was that there were 968 deaths at the hands of law enforcement last year. In fact, Obama’s Department of Justice concluded that, in Chicago at least, residents had suffered a “pattern of excessive force” by police, especially in communities of color.
D
rumpf announced that he was considering a new Executive Order on immigration after the court ruling that blocked his Muslim Ban, probably Monday or Tuesday. He added that the new Executive Order would change “very little” from the first.
D
n a meeting with the Japanese Prime Minster, Shinzo Abe, Drumpf did not wear his translation earpiece during Abe’s remarks although he kept nodding throughout. This disrespectful gesture was confirmed by White House duty press secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who made sure to add, “But he did see the text and they spoke quite extensively before the remarks.”
I
he US Senate voted, again along party lines, to confirm conservative Tom Price as Drumpf’s health secretary. He had campaigned to privatize Medicare and repeal the Affordable Care Act that helped ensure 20 million Americans. If that wasn’t enough, Tom Price is vehemently anti-choice and anti-gay rights.
T
n his first full day as Attorney General, Jeff Sessions withdrew the Justice Department’s request to halt an order against Obama administration’s guidance protecting trans students from discrimination and allowing them to use the restroom consistent with their gender identity.
