Hi everyone! The backbone of the books came from my high school days. One night, I thought "What would it be like if...." and from that simple sentence, it branched out to many and different thoughts which gave birth to Xin Mason. From that moment on, every time I go to sleep I'd create scenes in my head before I fall asleep. A lot of my favourite books and films influenced my ideas. Some of them were "The Twilight Saga" which contributed to the Vampire characters, the "Harry Potter" series which built the setting and influenced the timeline of the story, and some of mystery novels I've read which gave me the idea of leaving clues and questions to the story... which the answers, I think, at the end of the book would totally leave the readers to go shouting and run amok.
