Devizes Auctioneers Start 2018 as they mean to go on

H

enry Aldridge and Son, The Wiltshire Auctioneer with the Worldwide Reputation started 2018 as they finished 2017. The worldwide success of Aldridge’s Titanic auctions has had a knock on effect to their monthly antique sales with a number of important collectors’ items consigned.

The media contacts built up through these Titanic auctions enable the Devizes auctioneers to present these objects to a truly worldwide client base. Media outlets such as Fox News, BBC National Television and The Daily Mail covered the most recent auction and the prices reflected this.

An archive related to Rudolf Hess sold for £17500, and a small collection of letters from a Royal

Flying Corps ace (see right) sold for £11000 were among the 600 lots on offer.
