I am a professional, hard working individual that is currently employed byThe Diocese of Lincoln in the Property Department as a Trainee Technician.I have recently completed my RIBA Part 1 in Architecture at the University of Lincoln and am currently seeking a post to gain myStage 1 Professional Experience. I have experience of using different CAD programs which include: Drawing Express, AutoCAD, Sketch up, Kerkythea, Ecotect plus Photoshop, In Design and the usualMicrosoft Office products. I have also gained experience liaising with and submitting applications to the Local Authority Planning and Building Control.

Employment & Professional Experience:

Lincoln Diocese (December 2013 - Present) I currently work in the Property Department of The Diocese of Lincoln as aTrainee Technician. The Property Department is a small National Diploma in Construction (2009) team maintaining and improving the 260 houses belonging to The Diocese. I am getting the opportunity to put into use the Architectural skills I have acquired at the UniversiKey Skills level 2 (2008) ty. My duties include conducting measured site surveys, preparing draft proposals for works to the properties for approval by the Properties Manager and Housing CommitFirst Diploma in Art and Design (2007) tee, the working up of detailed plans, elevations and schedules, submission of plans to the Planning and Building Control Departments and general office duties such as GCSE (2007) assisting in data storage (both digital and traditional). I am also taking part in Pre-Start meetings, site inspections and completion visits and involved in the day to day liaising English Media Studies with Contractors and occupiers of the houses we maintain. English Language English Literature The Old Palace Hotel (July 2012 – January 2014) I previously worked as Front of House Mathematics for the Old Palace Hotel and my duties included serving day to day customers,prepa Science rations for Weddings andConference bookings and helping within the restaurant. The Graphics Old Palace Hotel is owned by The Diocese of Lincoln which resulted in my coming to Resistant Materials the attention of the Diocesan Secretary, as a result of which I was promoted into the Property Team. Territorial Army (June 2008 – May 2009)When I served in the Territorial Army, I gained many important life skills such as the confidence and the ability to work in a team but also to act independently when required. The military instilledself-discipline which allows me to effectively manage my time and to reach targets and deadlines that are set.
