Careful consideration was given when selecting the cattle for the sale in reference to A.I. service. We feel that the majority of the cattle selling are safe to their A.I. date or the approximate due date that is given. Please make sure that you do not confuse A.I. service date with approximate due date. Some of the females that were only exposed to the pasture sires are given an approximate due date in correlation with the vet examination. I purchased her last fall from Matt Copeland when he had called and said, “Hey, I’ve got some nice heifers in my sale that would do you some good.” Sure enough, Matt knows what they need to look like as calves and how they need to be bred to make top end breds for my sale. He’s just a sharp cowboy, so I took his advice and bought this heifer. I absolutely love her. I love the way her neck comes high out of the top of her shoulder and then from there back, how powerful she is. Yet her best feature might be feet and leg structure and how well she moves. If you want to be extra critical, some might say she needs a shot of body, but hell I think it’s good enough. They used to say the same thing about me and mine came on very nicely!!
