Finished Chest Measurements: Small - 391/4" (99.5 cm) Medium - 44" (112 cm) Large - 481/2" (123 cm) Size Note: Instructions are written for size Small with sizes Medium and Large in braces { }. Instructions will be easier to read if you circle all the numbers pertaining to your size. If only one number is given, it applies to all sizes. If a zero is given, it means to do nothing. MATERIALS Sport Weight Yarn [5 ounces, 500 yards (140 grams, 457 meters) per skein]: Off White - 4{5-5} skeins Crochet hooks, sizes F (3.75 mm) and G (4.00 mm) or sizes needed for gauge Yarn needle
RIGHT SHOULDER Row 1: Ch 3, turn; H work FPtr around FPtr one row below next hdc, dc in next Cluster, work FPtr around FPtr one row below next hdc, dc in next hdc; repeat from H 3{4-5} times more, leave remaining 13{14-15} Clusters unworked: 9{11-13} dc and 8{10-12} FPtr. Row 2: Ch 2, turn; H hdc in next 3 sts, (work Cluster, slip st) in next dc; repeat from H across to last 4 sts, hdc in last 4 sts; finish off: 3{4-5} Clusters and 14{17-20} hdc.
GAUGE: With larger size hook, in pattern, 14 sts = 4" (10 cm); Rows 1-10 of Body = 41/2" (11.5 cm)
BACK
YOKE With smaller size hook, ch 71{79-87} loosely. Row 1 (Right side): Dc in fourth ch from hook (3 skipped chs count as first dc) and in each ch across: 69{77-85} dc. Note: Mark last row as right side. To work Cluster, H YO, insert hook in st indicated, YO and pull up a loop, YO and draw through 2 loops on hook; repeat from H 2 times more, YO and draw through all 4 loops on hook. Push Cluster to right side. Row 2: Ch 2 (counts as first hdc, now and throughout), turn; hdc in next dc, (work Cluster, slip st) in next dc, H hdc in next 3 dc, (work Cluster, slip st) in next dc; repeat from H across to last 2 dc, hdc in last 2 dc: 17{19-21} Clusters and 52{58-64} hdc.
