The Wanderers Club brings together family-friendly golf, tennis, fitness, and polo in the heart of North America’s premier equestrian community – the Village of Wellington, Florida. Named after the winning team of the first United States Open Polo Championship, The Wanderers Club is a wonderfully comfortable setting where families will create memories for this generation and the next. During the design process of our championship 18-hole golf course, a magnificent par-72 creation of Jacobsen Hardy Golf Course Design, the architects incorporated a world-class polo field into the driving range, making it possible for both sports to feel at home. That’s because when the Jacobsen Hardy team redesigned the Club’s spectacular, 18-hole golf course, the architects incorporated an intimate polo field into the golf practice range. Built alongside the first hole and separated by gleaming bunkers, the polo grounds provide golfers with a unique view of the ponies. When the world’s elite players come to play, the club offers three spectacular places for the entire family to watch the match and enjoy a fun and memorable event. Tennis Day and Night The Wanderers Club features six lighted Har-Tru tennis courts for day and night play at all skill levels. All the courts have professionally maintained Championship surfaces, shade shelters, comfortable seating towels and bottled water. Our tennis professionals are USPTA certified, and because our program is closely associated with the International Polo Club Palm Beach, we offer combined participation in team tennis, special events, and clinics. DUKE’S BAR is a casual bar and seating area featuring a large horseshoe shaped bar including seated tables and a flat-screen TV making it ideal for families to unwind, have a casual drink or dinner and/or have a cocktail reception or intimate gathering.
STABLES RESTAURANT is our Fine Dining Room which is full of character with exposed brick, wrought iron chandeliers, and gorgeous wine displays. It is ideal for a more elegant dining experience or an intimate gathering ranging from brunch to entertaining to anniversary dinner parties. STABLES PATIO: Guests may choose seating outside on the covered terrace overlooking our fabulous outdoor swimming pool and golf course.
DUKE’S BAR VERANDA is a lovely covered veranda just outside of Duke’ s Bar and is ideal for a casual drink, cocktail reception, or simply a nice conversation with a friend or family member any day of the week. Located on the second floor of the clubhouse, the Veranda overlooks tropical landscaping and sprawling golf course views, which is truly breathtaking.
