Get into Zines! A zine (pronounced zeen), short for magazine or fanzine, are small-circulation, self-published magazines. They can be created digitally or by physically cutting and gluing text and images together.
We have a number of drop-in after school clubs happening across our network of libraries. These combine homework help, craft activities, technology tasters and much more. Make a Zine Workshop All ages welcome Photocopying charges may apply Anyone can make a Zine. Make your own Zine to swap at Zinefest. Learn how to make a photocopied Zine in three different formats. Bring your own poetry, flash fiction, art, political rants, articles or compose something on the day. Post in the Library Post Box to share your creations. Funtime Comics All ages welcome Photocopying charges may apply Come along, meet and consult with our resident Comic Artists’ Collective on your creations. Zine Time 12yrs + Create your own A3 folded Zine. Zines are easy to make and are a great way to share your art, poems and writing with the world.
