Celebrating School Successes

Dear Friends, Supporters, and Members of the Christel House India Family,

It is with immense pride and gratitude that I present to you the Annual Report for Christel House India. The past year has been marked by significant milestones and remarkable achievements, reflecting our unwavering commitment to transforming the lives of underserved children through education, community services and holistic development. Here are some of the many successes of our school for the academic year 2023 - 2024

University Enrolment: We achieved a 100% university enrolment rate for our Grade 12 graduates. We are proud to announce that our graduates are now studying at prestigious institutions such as Ashoka University, KREA University, Azim Premji University and Plaksha University.

Academic Achievements: For the academic year 2023-24 our grade 12 students achieved outstanding results in their Board Exams, with a 100% pass rate. Impressively, 71% of our students secured distinctions and 29% earned First Class honours.

Athletic Excellence Fostering Girl Empowerment: Christel House India is committed to fostering girl power not just in the classroom, but also on the playing field. We believe in providing girls with opportunities to excel in sports and develop the confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills that come with athletic competition. As a result, many of our girl students participated in various state and national-level sports events. Additionally, Christel House India was nominated by the AFC (Asian Football Confederation) for the best women’s initiative in sports.

Community Outreach: Our outreach programs in Bangalore and Atal Nagar have had a significant impact on community members and parents. These initiatives included positive parenting workshops, skill development, financial literacy, and health and hygiene education. Additionally, Christel House India helped several individuals to enrol into Ayushman Bharat Arogya Scheme (a government welfare scheme for health insurance).

Homework Club: To foster a positive learning environment, we established an after-school homework club initiative in Bangalore and Atal Nagar communities. This program encourages students to complete their homework and maintain a proper study routine.

These accomplishments reflect the hard work and dedication of our students, staff, and supporters. Together, we continue to make significant strides in providing quality education and holistic development opportunities for our students.

In conclusion, it gives me great pride to share that this year, Christel House India will embark on a pivotal and exhilarating journey, continuing to align with our founder Christel DeHaan's vision of making quality education accessible to all. By July 2025, we plan to open a new school in Bangalore, expanding our reach and increasing the number of disadvantaged students we serve. This initiative will allow us to positively impact many more lives by bringing opportunities for holistic growth and development. We look forward to sharing more soon!

Thank you for all your support!
