The hardest part in achieving anything is getting started. SoMa embraces beginners with a growth mindset.
#2COMMITMENT – GIVE YOUR 100%!
Go hard or go home as the saying goes. SoMa prioritises effort and sportsmanship over winning. The only mandatory requirement is that you give your best effort on and off the court.
#3LOVE WHAT YOU DO, NOW AND ALWAYS
Be present, respectful and grateful for all that you have. There will probably come a time when you wish you could go back to do what you love without being bogged down by adult responsibilities. So for now, enjoy every moment!
#4 WIDEN YOUR HORIZONS Sport develops both physical and mental strength. An open and positive mindset makes a massive difference to performance. Participating in a team sport also provides opportunities to celebrate important milestones individually, socially and as a team.
#5BIGGER THAN THE GAME Sport helps student athletes develop manners, social skills and acceptance, helping them become better people, children and siblings. The SoMa team find joy in interacting with student athletes – enriching their lives one high-five and laugh at a time!
