Welcome! | Ski Famille was founded 25 years ago with one simple aim, to make family skiing holidays as enjoyable and hassle free as possible for both parents and children. As parents we know that taking children skiing can be amazing fun and with carefully selected chalets, our exclusive in-chalet Ă&#x20AC; La Carte Childcare, delicious menus and attentive service, we have shown many thousands of families that a skiing holiday can be a magical and restful experience. Our three resorts and thirteen chalets have been handpicked to ensure that there is an option that will work for your family whatever your skiing ability or the ages of your children. Our dedicated family focus enables us to have an uncompromising attitude to what really works for skiers with children. Our UK based sales team is dominated by skiing parents who fully understand your needs and priorities. They have all visited every one of our chalets and will help you identify the best property and rooms for you and your children.

À La Carte Childcare | Our À La Carte Childcare service has one guiding principle; if children are happy and entertained in a safe environment by people that truly care, then parents will be free to relax and enjoy themselves.

BABIES AND TODDLERS The needs of our youngest guests are always at the forefront of our minds. As well as being able to offer fully qualified nannies, we have a range of equipment that ensure children are comfortable and parents don’t have to travel with half the contents of their house! • Free nappies and wipes

Importantly, all of our childcare is based in the chalet you are staying in. This unique approach creates a relaxed home from home environment that you won’t find with a centralised crèche. It also avoids a snowy trudge or bus ride for parents in the morning – simply slip into your (warmed!) ski boots and head for the slopes.

OUR CHILDCARE TEAM All our child care staff are carefully chosen by our senior managers and will ensure your children have a great ski holiday. Nannies are fully qualified and helpers have a wealth of experience in professional childcare environments. All our staff are enhanced CRB and reference checked and child carers are trained in first aid.

• A travel cot with luxury foam mattress and cotton linen will be in your room on arrival • High quality all terrain buggies available at all our chalets • Home made purees and a range of Hipp Organic baby jars are provided at meal times

Some parents are looking for all day care to maximise time on the slopes, whilst others are seeking options that allow afternoons spent en-famille. Please note, all childcare needs to be booked in advance and is not available as an option in resort.

MINI MARMOTS | 4 MONTHS TO 4 YEARS | £329 All day care (0900 to 1700) six days a week for children from four months to four years old. Safe stimulating fun in and around your chalet with our qualified nannies and carers. Includes supervised lunch and all activities.

MOUNTAIN MARMOTS | 3 TO 12 YEARS | £249 Morning English speaking ski instruction for all abilities six days a week. We will get children ready for ski classes, take them to and from the ski meeting points and liaise with our ski school partners. Care is 0900 to 1230 and lessons are typically 2hrs 45 minutes long. Lesson times, days and durations may vary for skiers aged 3 and 4 years.

SUPERVISED LUNCH | 3 TO 12 YEARS | £99 Supervised lunch in your chalet (1230 to 1400) six days a week. This option is already included in Mini Marmots and Monty’s Afternoon Club.

MONTY’S AFTERNOON CLUB | 3 TO 12 YEARS | £239 Six afternoons (1230 to 1700) of action packed activities with plenty of outdoor play. Food and Drink | Food and drink are an important part of any skiing holiday. We believe that going on a ski holiday with children shouldn’t mean that you have to compromise on simple pleasures such as an excellent meal in good company and a decent glass of wine.

Our chalet menus have been carefully designed in conjunction with the award winning Cambridge Cookery School to provide families with imaginative, well-presented and great tasting food.

DRIVING TO THE ALPS

In Standard you can purchase a range of food and drink in the on-board bar-buffets and enjoy the view from your reserved seat. On arrival in Moutiers for Reberty or Aime for La Plagne you will be met by your driver for the short transfer (30 mins approx) to your chalet.

Eurotunnel FlexiPlus channel crossings are included in our chalet prices. Les Gets is particularly easy to drive to, as one of the nearest French resorts to the channel. Reberty and La Plagne are only an hour further down the autoroute.

Plagne 1800 is the newest addition to the Ski Famille programme. La Plagne is a superb area for family skiers and our two chalets are located in a great spot beside the slopes and a short walk from the ski school meeting point. Plagne 1800 offers an attractive, yet high altitude, base for families and has a small but appealing selection of bars, shops and restaurants. Plagne Centre is a short bus ride away. You will enjoy high altitude skiing combined with charming villages. The fast link to Les Arcs gives a total ski area that even the most experienced skiers will struggle to cover in a week.

Les Gets is a beautiful and traditional French ski resort offering fabulous facilities for families combined with charm and superb skiing. This picturesque resort is part of the vast Portes du Soleil area and offers skiing to 2,466m as well as links to well known neighbours such as Morzine and Avoriaz. You can even ski to Switzerland for lunch and be back at your chalet in time for tea! A short airport transfer makes this a popular choice for guests with young children and many families return to our well located chalets year after year. The village itself has plenty of shops, bars, restaurants and an open air ice rink. You will find plenty to keep you entertained on and off the slopes. Reberty 2000 is something of an undiscovered gem at the heart of the 3 Vallées, the World’s largest ski area. Sitting between Les Menuires and Val Thorens, Reberty is a modern hamlet built in an appealing traditional style. All of our Reberty chalets sit at 2,000m and are just footsteps from a gentle blue run; you’ll enjoy a perfect warm up at the start of the day and a sedate cruise back home at the end. The sunny terrace of the slope side “Ferme de Reberty” is a popular spot for a coffee or an après ski beer. One ski lift from our Reberty chalets gives you quick access to Val Thorens, Les Menuires and Meribel.
