Foundation Board Purpose The Christian College Foundation supports valuable educational programs and projects, providing financial support where it is most needed. Established in 2015, the Foundation has a goal of providing a funding source, independent of student fees, which can be used to: • support students from families with disadvantaged backgrounds • those experiencing particular hardship. • make fees affordable for all. It also funds new initiatives, locally and globally, to enhance the educational program of our students. Our objectives include ensuring the long term viability of the College in these ever changing times.
Through the provision of a Christian College education we continue to assist future generations and foster hope and purpose for their future. A review of the Constitution was undertaken to ensure it reflects the purpose and intention of the Foundation. Our thanks goes to those board members who undertook the task. Engaging directly with the College’s Major Event sponsors to share the story of the Foundation, its purpose, impact and how our sponsors can support the work of the Foundation. Building relationships is vital to the future of the Foundation. Our College’s Scholarship Fund received contributions in excess of $50,000. These contributions are enabling more young people to access the ‘Learning That Matters’.
Summary of 2018 2018 has been a year of further consolidation, growth and new initiatives for the Foundation.
